A perfect escape from busy and polluted city. Jog, do yoga or just relax and breathe in some fresh air as you enjoy view of a medieval era man made lake. This calm and quite park is situated in Hauz Khas Village. Deer Park has three parts: Deer Park, Lake side and Hauz Khas Fort. Road gets bifurcated near entrance for Deer park and Lake. Entrance of Fort is from Hauz Khas Market side. This Park needs more of maintenance and cleaning. The Market beside Park is awesome. Full of some of the best Restrobars and restaurants of Delhi.

Important Infos:
1. Muncipal Corp Parking available just opposite to entrance.
2. Entry is free.
3. Huaz Khas Metro Station is bit far. Need to catch a rickshaw from Metro station to reach here.

A place for my morning walk, thus holds a special charm. However the park has increasingly become infested with dogs, monkeys, pigs. People feeding the dogs make the situation worse. The lake was beautiful and a setting out of a hill station, however is not well maintained now. Getting to the lake, you need to cross the monkeys on the tree and that is a daunting prospect :(

The Deer Park in Delhi's Hauz Khas area is well known as a fantastic escape from hectic and maddening city crowd. It is lush green, full of trees and plantations. So, just go there and sit for hours, enjoying leisurely conversations or reading or just plain watching nature, with birds chirping in the background. It is a great place for those looking for some precious I Me Myself time of their own. You can sight deer(s) if your luck is dear to you.

A very amazing and nice place. You can spend time with kids, family and friends and also enjoy very much. Since it is a nature place, you will not loose you enthusiasm. The park is well maintained, neat, clean and great.

Being a Mumbaite it was worth a visit. The park is located between Hauz Khas village and Safdarjung Enclave. A nice little walk, a good exercise and a great view of a different species of deer. Something unique for an outsider!!!!

Lovely clean site. Great place for a walk. Many deer in a fenced area. They seem happy and content. Monkeys and peacocks too. Worth a visit.

You can go around the world and may miss the activity you find in this park. It is an amazing place. Where else birds would fly by at your shoulder height. Early in the morning and late summer evening this place is filled with people, animals and range of birds including peacocks.

For a long walk, there may not be another better place around the lake.

It is a quite historic with Mughal era ruins. At times the lake is not well maintained.

If lucky, you may even see a flock of white swans.

Have been to Delhi many times, but had never heard about the place. Was surprised to see a deer park with in the city. And thankfully its not sparsely populated.

The surprising element was beautiful peacocks - a great view from a short distance.

Not a large enough park to be feeling tired about. we had been in the afternoon before lunch and you a number of options for food closeby.
