In December 2019 we hired a car and driver through Discover India by Car to do a 3 day drive from Delhi to Agra to Ramathra Fort to Ranthambore to Jaipur. From our first email to them, they were responsive, professional, transparent and easy to understand. We found the Ankit ("Sugar"), their Operations Manager, especially helpful. We were willing to pay a premium to use them due to their professional approach and willingness to rent us the car we wanted (which was a SUV: Toyota Innova. I highly recommend getting a SUV since driving in India is chaotic and you want to be in a big car if an accident happens). We found our driver helpful, professional and always on time. We could not have been more pleased with using Discover India by Car! It was perfect! We would be pleased to use them again. One final note: the day after we left our driver I discovered that I left my sunglasses in the rental car. I called Sugar and he found them and sent them to me via express delivery to the city i was then in. All at no cost!! (even though I insisted that I reimburse him for shipping them to me) I don't think i have ever had such great service from anyone!

We used Discover India by Car for my family’s recent trip to India to book our English speaking driver and tour guides in New Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur. Booking was easy. Our driver, Sushil, was an excellent driver with a calm disposition, who also acted as a tour guide in between cities and taught us about Indian culture. All of our tour guides were professional, friendly and knowledgeable: Gautam in New Delhi, Chandra in Agra and Krishanin Jaipur. Knowing that I was a photographer, each of them made sure that I had ample photo opportunities and would show me the best vantage points when the lighting was good. In each city, they made sure that we saw the best sites and were able to experience local culture. And, Sushil and all of the tour guides were punctual so we were able to make the most of each day. I would highly recommend Discover India by Car for anyone traveling through India’s Golden Triangle.

We had an outstanding experience with this company. We opted to hire just a driver without a guide for a day trip to the Taj Mahal from Delhi, and our driver, Mr. Sanjeev, was very professional, punctual, and took care of all our requests. They were also very responsive and complete in all their communication before and during the trip, so we felt we knew what was going on at all times. If there are any downsides, the overall trip was a bit on the pricier side versus just getting an Uber both ways, though we agreed to the price upfront so there were no surprises and our driver stopped whenever we wanted for bathroom or food breaks. Also, the requests to make sure we write a review here started to get a bit frequent throughout the trip, but I understand that reviews are important to their business so I didn't really mind. Overall, a very reliable and awesome experience and I highly recommend this company!

We wanted an economical way to tour this part of India and ‘Discover India By Car’ made it work perfectly for us. All we had to do was decide what we wanted to see and be willing to book our own hotels. This we had no problem with as we could get the location, facilities and cost that worked for us. Ankit always responded very quickly and was happy to advise on potential tour itineraries and quickly modified them as we did more research. He offered to arrange guides for the days that it worked best and these turned up with the driver. Everything worked just as he advised. Then there was Sushil, our driver for the 6 days. He quickly became a friend and shared with us a lot of information on Indian history, politics and religion. On our transit day from Delhi, we had only a couple of sights to see so didn’t book a guide and he was kind enough to accompany us to them making it easy to navigate our way through the entrance etc. He drove at a steady safe pace for the duration and nothing was too much trouble. On our first night in Agra, he came back to take us somewhere nice to eat. He also phoned ahead to Jaipur to arrange some activities for us after we abandoned one of the sights we planned to see due to the bad weather. This was our first time and first thing we did in India and this tour got us into the swing of things before we moved on. We couldn’t have hoped for a better introduction and Discover India by car, particularly Sushil made it so easy and enjoyable.

A highly recommended way to visit India for the first time. Sugar was extremely prompt with his communication and was extremely flexible to accommodate to our changing schedule when needed. The SUV we hired was in pristine condition, well maintained by the touring company, and was very comfortable to sit through the long distance driving. Our driver Ashok was a very experienced driver, regardless of the changing road condition/traffic/animals, he expertly manoeuvred around, we felt extremely safe and at ease. In particular, as the airport Airtel shop was closed during our arrival, he kindly took us to the local Airtel store in CP, acted as a guarantor and allowed me to gain prepaid sim access on the spot without paying the exaggerated airport rate. The wonderful trip would not have been possible if it wasn't for the excellent service provided by Discover India by Car. Highly recommended!

My husband and I have just concluded a 7 day tour of the Golden Triangle and Ranthambore with Mr Prem. We had a fantastic experience with Discover India by Car. From our very first email exchange with Ankit, everything was simple and clearly communicated. Mr Prem collected us from the airport on arrival, and he was with us for our entire trip - including taking us to and from all of the sites that we visited in each city. This was our first time in India and Mr Prem made us feel very comfortable. Mr Prem‘s knowledge and experience was evident, as he helped us to plan our days so that we could get through absolutely everything that we wanted to do. Mr Prem also has some fabulous local recommendations which we would not have found without him (ask about the masala chai in Jaipur!). We absolutely recommend Discover India by Car, and especially Mr Prem, for anyone considering a hassle free holiday in India!

It was the best decition ever to hire a car and Driver for our 15 day trip trough Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaislamer and Bikaner. We highly recommend our Driver Prem! You pay in the end, and the Price is very competitive and includes free WiFi in the car and all fees such as Airport and Highway fees. I sent the itinerrary we planned and they made a Price proposal. Small changes could be made without any Problems. Prem was not only Driver, he advised us for which Things to see, searched Restaurants in our Price class, stops on the road with clean toilets ect. He helped to find sepcial Shops, such as a library to buy a Special book, Canon shop to buy a camera because our broke down etc. We are especially thankfull, when we arrived late in Jaipur to our Airbnb and the place was just aweful in a super dangerous area and he organised for us a new hotel within short time. I highly recommend discover india by car and especially prem as Driver for any short or longer trip to Delhi and Rajasthan!

Gulab and Discover India by Car has been amazing from start to finish. We are a family of 4 Americans on a gap year and well traveled. India was high on our list and it reopened at the right time with our schedule. I was a bit stressed trying to plan logistics at the last minute and decided a private driver would be best. One of the best decisions we made on this trip. We spent 8 days going around the golden triangle along with Ranthambhore National Park. From the moment Gulab picked us up and every day he was professional, punctual, and patient. He was always calm in any driving scenario which made our trip so much more enjoyable in the India "chaos" (which was so much better with a driver). He figured out our preferences immediately which is an amazing gift. Truly I expected to be more stressed this leg, but the local people coupled with Gulab's calming disposition made it one of our highlights this year. He was an amazing educational resource with our unending questions about the local culture, etc. We did not have an itinerary set in stone and he made so many great suggestions and stops. The company has respectable guides in most places if you choose to go that route. He helped us navigate every day tasks too. I will recommend this company and Gulab to anyone who wants to explore India with some flexibility (like booking your own hotels/setting your own schedule). We traveled to India in late December 2022 and used Discover India by Car to book a car with driver for two legs of our trip: Delhi to Jaipur and back, then Delhi to Agra and back. Our itinerary was a bit unusual, as we spent a few days in India before leaving for Bhutan, then a few days upon our return before flying home. Sugar (Ankit) worked with us to completely meet our itinerary needs, including local tour guides for all the places we visited. His communication was prompt and clear. He was transparent with the fees (even allowing us to pay in card or cash at the end of the trip), and he provided a quote that we could not believe! Ankit was true to his word when he said there were no hidden fees. Both of our drivers for our trip, Mr. Prem and Mr. Mohit, were punctual, helpful, and safe. The cars were spacious, modern, and clean. The tour guides that Sugar set up were good, though be prepared to be taken to multiple craft stores (accept it as just a part of traveling in India!) I cannot recommend Discover India by Car highly enough. Thank you Sugar, Mr. Mohit, and Mr. Prem for taking care of us!

The whole experience of dealing with this company was excellent. Ankit Sugar the Operations Manager was friendly and helpful. The price was competitive. Our driver was Mr. DK Rawat. He turned up on time and was easy to contact on WhatsApp. The car was clean, spacious and comfortable. He was an excellent driver, we felt safe and relaxed and his local knowledge of the roads was clear. He spoke good English too and looked after us always making sure we had what we needed. I would book again and would recommend our driver to anyone who wants a stress free trip. Thank you
