My wife and I recently embarked on a 9-day Golden Triangle & Varanasi Tour, which included Delhi, Agra (with the iconic Taj Mahal), Jaipur and Varansi. Uday created an outstanding travel plan for us, taking into account all our preferences. Throughout the planning process and the tour itself, he was incredibly responsive, flexible, patient, and consistently delivered excellent service.
Our driver, Hukum, was exceptional—the best driver I’ve encountered to date. His expertise and familiarity with all destinations, combined with his ability to navigate long distances and chaotic traffic with utmost safety and concentration, were truly impressive. Beyond that, we shared wonderful conversations and countless laughs with him, making the journey even more enjoyable.
Uday also arranged exceptional guides for each city we visited. In Delhi, Anand made us feel like we were touring with a close friend rather than a guide. He was always caring, knowledgeable, flexible, and willing to go above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience.
In Jaipur, Himanshu gave us an incredible tour of the city, sharing his deep knowledge while allowing us ample time to explore and capture beautiful photos. His fluent Italian was a delightful surprise for my wife, who is Italian, and it added a special touch to our experience.
Finally, in Varanasi, Anil guided us through the vibrant and spiritual streets of this holy city. His grounded approach and insights helped us understand the complex and profound topics of death and mourning in the Hindu tradition. It was a deeply moving and impactful experience.
All in all, we felt so well taken care of, with a carefully planned itinerary that was executed flawlessly. India is a country of diverse cultures and vibrant colors, and having a solid preplanned structure is essential. DIPT delivered on this exceptionally well. We are very thankful for their patience, great communication, and continuous on-the-ground support at all times.
We had an amazing experience with DIPT on our first tour to India. It’s clear that we will ask DIPT to plan a South India tour for our next journey.
