I have been this place because of a gift voucher given by our company. Its at a premiere location in CP. Its a complete family store. You can get something for everyone. From kitchen to bathroom to living room to bedroom. Its a versatile store having khadi products at amazing prices.

I often go to Khadi Bhawan during our visit to India. Not only it reminds of old good days but the quality of the products is very good at very reasonable price. You can rely on what they are selling and all comes from handlooms. The pricing is very reasonable compared to quality and you be taken for a ride. The sales staff is also very helpful which was kind of surprise and that also keeps this place to standard where it is now.

This is the best Khadi showroom in the country
It has 3 floor with dedicated sections for ladies and men garments.
Ground floor is dedicated to food and beauty section
The verity is huge and trendy designs available.
From 2nd October on occasion of Gandhi Jayanti there will be a discount offer of 10 to 20 % on all products.
If you are in Delhi and want to experience of verity, designs and trends in Khadi , this is the place.

Having been a fan and purchaser of khadi for years and a Gandhi-phile, I was at first pleased to find this giant emporium this last winter when I visited India again. There is a huge selection, some really wonderful items, and SOME of it is true khadi, by definition. But I have serious doubts about everything being true khadi. I have been to real khadi local stores all over India and in general, the prices are a lot lower than in this emporium, and the selection is completely different and much reduced overall in places that handle only true homespun, etc.
That being said, I am glad to see the Indian public being re-interested in buying khadi. All I can hope is that with the higher prices here, that the actual artisans are being reimbursed accordingly and along the lines of the authentic concept of khadi outlets and khadi production.
There are other real khadi stores in Delhi and around India so you seek them out and get a feel for the authenticity.
It is a fun visit in any case, and merits a bit of time to peruse.

Though I wanted to visit this store for a long time now, finally it happened only last Saturday afternoon. It is a huge shop with three stories and offers a lot of products of different variety. Grocery item, snacks, pickles, honey and other edible items, herbal cosmetic products, bed-bath-kitchen linens, readymade wears for men and women, dress materials, woolens. Display is good for most of the items. However, when it comes to readymade clothes, it was very very haphazard and there is hardly anybody to help customers locate a piece of their choice. Maybe because it was a Saturday afternoon, the shop was too crowded to look for something one wanted in peace. Even when finally one decided to buy something, there were long queues for payments and it took us longer to make our payments then it took to pick the items. But we are still willing to visit the place for the product range it offers. Some of the kurtas and shirts for men were really good. Comparatively, women wears were less novel. Visit the shop at least once, but choose your timing wisely. I heard it is closed on Sunday.

Bought a cotton Kurta with fancy buttons in front on 1sr March 21.In these Covid times soaked it in antiseptic water for 2 minutes and 3 of those buttons came out because they were stuck not stitched on Kurta....so disappointed and horrified by such callous dealings...

We generally visit this place once in a month or more to replenish our needs of herbal cosmetics. They have a large variety of herbal soaps, pastes, oils etc. and equally large variety of tea, honey, health related products.
Their garments section is well stocked with high quality silk and cotton apparels. A must-do visit for people coming to India to have a feel of its local products.

Greeted by a lifesize statue of the Mahatma who started this home-weaving project to fight the Raj-imposed imported cotton. Very quiet A/C 3 floors of traditional crafts and health food in the basement. Not an emporium, the staff are more like civil servants, therefore nobody to coerce you into buying. good quality and very reasonable rates on traditional clothing
