If you are in Delhi and looking for a place to relax, walk, jog or even run with a little less feeling of being polluted then perhaps nehru park might bring a smile to your face. The park is clean and green! You can even get a few miles if exercise in! This place in around the embassy area so home to a lot of expats as well. There is an open air strength training gym which seems to be guarded by the four legged making sure you loose those extra pounds 😊

Nehru Park is a fairly large green area in Delhi. Good place for Joggers and Yoga enthusiasts. A pretty decent playground for kids and youngsters. It also turns out to be a good place for picnic during winters. Well maintained flowerbeds, artificial fountains and mature trees makes it a pleasant place for relaxing.

Important Info:

1. Free Parking is available outside the park.
2. Hawkers selling ice creams, chips, cold drinks etc can be found outside the park.
3. Weekends are comparatively more crowded.
4. Public Convenience available inside the park

Visit to the Nehru Park was nice on a crisp Sunday morning. We were actually headed to someone's house while we stopped by to have a quick stroll in this lovely park. Though there are several rough / brown patches the flowers were in bloom.

Nehru park is located in Chanakyapuri, Delhi. This is very close to Hotel Ashok and Race Course Road.
Its a huge green belt within the city and one will often see morning walkers coming to walk here in the mornings.
Nehru Park also hosts couple of events during the year like marathons, yoga classes and children's activities.

Nehru Park is nestled in the midst of Embassies in the VIP area of Chanakyapuri in Delhi. One of the best-maintained parks in the city, it boasts of varied flora and attracts people of all ages. It's best suited for morning/evening runs or walks (have unpaved and paved tracks for both), yoga sessions, family and children's outings. It has ample parking space and a pictursque lake as well with ducks and some other animals.

Good place to plan a family picnic on a weekend during the winters. The place is nicely maintained with some water bodies. It's a good place to take a walk if you are staying nearby. There is ample parking space around the park. The authorities do not allow people playing cricket or football on the lawns. There are descent washrooms and drinking water facilities in this park.

Other than its terrible name (after the person who helped create the dirty corrupt mess all around), this is a large and pleasant park. Worth a stroll if you're in the area.
