great place to go near the zoo if you visit zoo you can visit purana quila too ticket cost is cheap and one can get parking space near the zoo side left side of entrance is boating lake one can do boating on green watered lake. purana quila is good if you visit it for first time a bit clean... It was a wonderful experience went in the evening and also saw light and sound show with kids. The show the history of delhi thru projection and sound. It was facinating my kids loved it... only issue was as it is rainy season and the show happens in park so lot of mosquitoes... Dnt forget to apply Odomos etc cream... More

It is said to be one of the oldest fort in Delhi and is located near Mathura highway. Built by Sher Shah Suri, the structure is beautiful and also has a lake nearby. One of the best places to visit.
