Barista Cafe at M Block Market, GK-1, New Delhi is a chic, ultra modern Cafe that serves the best cappuccino in town. It is Ample of natural light, great music. The best place to unwind from the hustle bustle and to hold meetings!

Greater Kailash is one of South Delhi's more fashionable neighborhoods. It is lined with beautiful houses, doormen standing guard at front, and lovely shops and restaurants. M Block has a branch of many of the world's well-known retail and restaurant chains, including a two-level Benetton, Mcdonalds, Pizza Hut, Subway and other shops offering everything from books, home decor to imported crystal and high-end jewelry. In between the shops are stalls selling cheap costume jewelry, snacks and inexpensive clothing items. Young Delhiites can be seen strolling the posh area having lunch or spending their hefty allowances. M block is a must for those who like high style without the chaos of Connaught Place or local markets. Most shops and businesses accept major credit cards. Nearby is a branch of Baskin Robbins for those who want to cool down with something sweet.

One of happening market. It is mainly famous for its bars, late night clubs, street food joints. Also it is good for shopping lovers
Also one can find lot of sheesha lounges here; a must recommended area for sheesha lovers
Parking is a problem here, it is very congested and most of times it is full. Authorities should have underground or multi level parking nearby

Addresses in Delhi are relative, Greater Kailash is divided into different parts and you should know exactly which one you want, they are not so close to each other and the traffic is usually horrendous.

The main reason we went to M Block GK1 market was to use the Damini Money Changer. The place was quite busy at 6pm with locals, as they offered great exchange rates. Detail: they do not charge any extra fees!!

About 6:30 pm, we noticed there was a large crowd gathered around the Prince Chaat Corner store: locals eating momos from a street vendor. The tiny stall, called Aunty Special Momos, sells a standard portion of 8 pieces: InR$50 (US$0.80) for vegetable momos, InR$60 (US$1) for paneer momos and InR$80 (US$1.35) for chicken momos. They were delicious, finger-licking, melt in your mouth momos! And to drink you may go to Starbucks or try DePaul's cold coffee for only InR$70(US$1.15)!

There are quite a few nice brand shops in this market, especially for ladies clothing, shoes and accessories. Be aware, this is not the place to bargain or to buy discount items.

And don't forget to walk around the side streets, you will find tailoring shops and fruit stands!

GK I M Block market is considered to be one of the main markets of New Delhi and among most fashionable place to be in despite its small size.

Nowadays it is only having all mnc branded showrooms and jewellers apart from few brands of eating joints.

From what I know, Greater Kailash or GK II is another shopping area. Nothing special really. Nothing special to say about it, besides the fact that it is like any other neighborhood, dusty, noisy and dirty.

Please avoid DK Tailors in this market. The shop took an advance of Rs 500 from my mother and after 4 visits to the shop over the next 3 months, they did not get the blouse ready. When my mother asked them to refund the money, the shop owner Bhojpal Singh threw the Rs 500 note on the street and asked her to pick it up. They are very rude and unprofessional.
