We went there hier.Il seems that the regulation has changed. This complex is mentioned in the Lonely Planet as easily accessible. But yesterday, access was not possible for occasional visitors not sponsored by a member. Only the adhesions for 3 months to 2000 rupees were possible. We found a sponsor in the parking lot, a menbre who kindly take a bit of time to allow us access to the pool (one hour). What we avoid a return trip for nothing. The complex is a haven in Delhi, the pool is a little too heated for swimming.

One of the best place to try out sports, Golf, badminton, basketball, swimming, there is a huge range of options available. There different kinds on membership options available. Situated in the interiors you might want to hire an auto from nearest metro station.

We loved this sports complex so much we went twice! It has drop in facilities for swimming (50m pool), clay and hard court tennis, indoor and outdoor badminton, a gym with weights and cardio, outdoor basketball, outdoor jogging track, golf driving range, etc. For a cheap price you can rent golf clubs. My boyfriend went to the range while I swam. I am a very white Canadian woman and I felt completely comfortable swimming here. The pool is heated in November only. Accessing the various facilities I'm the complex is very very easy. As a guest you have to pay a 169 rupee fee daily. It cost me another 160 to swim. The driving range cost about 60 per bucket. There are quite a few foreigners here, no one bothers you. We loved having a bit of a retreat and an opportunity to exercise. It is far from central Delhi, and while we for lucky with an excellent auto rickshaw driver I would be surprised if all drivers knew of the place and would take you there and back, plus wait time, easily and relatively cheaply, it's 45 minutes or so from New Delhi Rail station. Lucky for you I got our drivers name. Give Rajesh a call (9871140488), he was the most honest and least pushy driver we had by a wide, wide margin! Note that you have to bring your own towel and drinking water.

DDA Siri Fort Sports Complex hosted Badminton and Squash competitions for Commonwealth Games, 2010. This complex now is a venue for many international and national level competitions, mainly for badminton and is a pride of place as a sports facility. Apart from that, this is a huge sports and recreation facility for South Delhi and boasts of a good walking track, tennis, swimming, table tennis and many other sports facilities. This place gets a large number of visitors every day for sports and physical fitness activities.

Apart from its world class facilities for badminton and squash, it has a great golf driving range and a mini golf course. Membership is impossible to obtain but 3 month temporary memberships at reasonable cost can be had.
Lovely tennis courts , top class swimming pool and a cricket ground to top it all. I use the golf driving range very often and at Rs 50 for 50 balls on the range- its a steal.

The complex is one among several DDA sports complexes in Delhi but perhaps has the widest range of facilities. It is not a tourist place but a serious sports complex with, tennis, cricket, field hockey, skating, swimming, golf driving range, pitch and putt golf course, walking/jogging track, badminton and others. Most of the facilities can be used by even non-members by paying a very reasonable usage fee. I use the golf facilities and my son played tennis. The place is very clean and well maintained and there is a pro shop and a coffee shop. There is ample parking space too. The place was renovated during the commonwealth games recently and therefore in very good shape right now. Its a boon for children to learn and practice any game that they want to play. There are coaches who are conducting training programs regularly. Attached to the complex is the Siri Fort Auditorium which conducts cultural programs regularly but that needs modernization and renovation. The restaurant complex is also attached and has a decent selection of eateries.
