I had participated in a charity run on April 3, 2016 which had start and end points at the stadium itself. Being a regular marathon participant, I had visited several stadiums in other parts of country but the Iconic Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium turned out to be a sore point. Several parts of the stadium are in complete neglect with... More

There are several sports practice here- including football with regular classes and matches. There have several matches hosted here from various leagues. It's a biggest stadium of India and is very old. It is basically for the athletics and other outdoor activities but it is also used for the bug functions and cultural events.

Amazing statdium, by far the biggest and most decorated stadium in India. it was built for the purpose of Asian Games held in 1982 in India and was again rebuilt for the common wealth Games in Delhi in 2011. It has a capacity of sitting 80000 (Eighty Thousand people for a single event.

This is the only football stadium in Delhi and it is in disarray, there are no facilities to speak of - really poor food and beverage arrangement, dirty and broken toilets. dirty and broken seats. went to the 1st Semi Finals of ISL (Delhi vs Goa). Delhi won 1-0

Easy to access, reachable. The events are regular course. Enjoyed the fine cold environment with spicy foods from different states.

It was great to be in stadium for ISL match of Delhi V/s NER. Great atmosphere with all NER friends turning up to cheer their team. Live match with great experience. Good security arrangements. Happened to see the match with VIP pass with complimentary food.

This is the best one the city or the country has but it's upkeep is disastrous. Mir is used for international athletics meet or now for current football matches
