I went to a number of Bridges on this go-round (trips I take for specific purposes). I seen this bridge among a few others but this one was very cool to visit. Very well kept and I hope it's here a long long time after I seen it. Hope people can learn to appreciate such things and care for them.

The Swann Bridge was named after my great grandfather and grandmother who lived there. I think the old house is either gone or fallen to pieces now. It is a beautiful bridge and so glad it has been kept up.

This was our first one of the trip, I just loved it. The rushing water, the smells of the old bridge and the history written on the walls. This is a must do and seeing the doe on the side of the road while we were getting there and out was a perfect touch. Well worth the time.

We were able to find this wooden bridge deep in the Alabama woods. What we found was a beautiful old wooden bridge and lots of people enjoying the cool waters of the water that runs beneath it. It is well worth the drive into the country if you're in the area.

Covered bridges are a rare site but this one is something special. It has recently been restored and is in excellent condition. Great place for fall photographs!

There are two reasons you would go here.
1. You love covered bridges and have to find every one in the state and take a picture with it.
2. You are within 20 minutes of here and looking for something interesting to do.

It's a well cared for bridge, it's definitely neat to visit. But the road to it is pretty rough, the locals that live there look at you funny when you drive past, and the "turn around" on the other side is smmmmall.

Overall, it's about what you would expect. It's an old school, well cared for, one lane, covered bridge. If you're driving past, then I say take the time to swing through and visit. If you're considering driving an hour to go see it - then make sure that you really, really want to see a covered bridge and nothing else.

Great experience! Not many covered bridges left, especially not in as good of shape as this one. It’s cool to be able to visit this bridge and the others in the area, and ride across all of them!

Definitely something to experience! Not many left and enjoy them while they’re around. Kids were amazed by it!
