We did a beach hike with Rene from Firefly. It was very cool to walk there and to me met by a taco stand! Delicious, beautiful, and idyllic.

Beautiful beach but I was eaten alive by mosquitoes or sand fleas. Never sure what got me but be warned - you need the serious stuff here - Deet. You are so close to the jungle and can see sloths in the trees. Gorgeous warm...More

Red Frog Beach is a private beach with a $5.00 cost per person. It has an excellent trail through the jungle to access the beach. It is great for families and for the surfing enthusiasts. Be careful though, because sometimes the current can be very...More

Very nice beach. Water is very rough. You will need a shuttle boat from Bocas Town. Not at all crowded.

We actually had to approach the beach from the other side of the island, next to a marina that hosted some truly spectacular yachts. We tied up at the dock and paid the entry fee for the beach. It is a bit of a walk...More

It was a very nice beach, with a lot of waves. We had a great time there and would go again. Sand was clean and nice.

Bascimentos is a chill island, not crowded. That's why I love Red Frog, because is a beautiful beach but not too much people! Try to visit!

The beaches are wide, with soft white sand and few people. Beware of rip tides. On Red Frog Beach there is delightful Palmar Lodge to stop for a drink and chat. Access to Red Frog Beach is best done directly by boat rather than going...More

One of my fav in Bocas del Toro: great beach with good snorkel and a lovely beach bar where drink a cool smothie with your feet in the sand! Great fish taco!

We really looked forward to this beach because we heard a lot good about it and read a lot good recommendations on trip adviser, but it was nothing like we had heard, maybe we was there a bad day or maybe in bad season

We have been coming to our Villa at Red Frog for 12 years and have never had any problems of any kind. You would be in more danger in Jamaica, Cancun or NY than u would be in Bocas or Red Frog. I let my kids go off on their... More

The taxi from Tocumen to Albrook is $35 each way, and 30 min travel (more or less depending on traffic). It is not very difficult but it does add time to your travel day. Also, you should know that Air Panama is notorious... More
