The beach is lovely and the Sea Stars (Sorry, but they are not fish) are beautiful and abundant. They love the area about 10-20 yards offshore where the sea grass ends. I have lifeguarded beaches professionally for 40+ years and there are some serious perils here. A good

Red frog beach is on Isla Basimentos, which is a ten minute boat ride from Bocas town. The beach is fairly basic in my opinion but there are a couple of places to eat and drink in. There's no sports played there but you can surf and boards can be hired.

My wife and I went with our friends who live here in Bocas Del Toro. The beach is beautiful and the water is comfortable. The drinks & food especially the Red Snapper was delicious.

We were disappointed. We only saw 6-7 starfish while snorkeling and heard the same from others. A motorboat was making lots of noise pulling a raft right in front of the beach. In general, the small cafes didn't look very clean. The beach is narrow with few places to sit except
