This is one of my favorite beaches in Bocas Town. I always go with friends and it never dissapoints. You can actualy see lots of stars or go with a local tour guide where you can spin around with underwater snorkling pulled by a boat!...More

I visited this beach twice in 2 days because it was like paradise! I took some photos at the beach with the starfish then went to a quiet little cove nearby to chill and have the beach all to myself! Outstanding!

No options for good restaurants there. The beach is small and it's needed to walk 40 minutes to arrive there after dropped off with the bus. We found only one sea star there.

one needs to walk a bit to get to the beach, but it is quite nice once you do. There are a couple of places where you can get pinha coladas from! :)

Playa Estrella is easily reached by bus (a bit bumpy) from the center of Bocas Town. After you reach Boca del Drago, you can take a ferry, or, my favorite, walk a beautiful 20 minute walk to the beach. In recent years they have made...More

I loved this place, you can get this small bars on the beach with service to your sun chair, very nice place to go in the afternoon. You can take the bus to go and come back by boat

Pros: Reasonable transportation from Bocas Town to the beach ($2.50) and boat to Playa Estrella ($1.50). Beautiful starfish and curious small fish that swim right up to you. Restaurants Free lounging chairs Tranquility Cons: Terrible dirt road. The bumpy swerving drive home made me nauseas.

this is a pristine aerea beside in the weekend or on holidays. Sadly during this days it is overcrowded for our taste. Please whenever you visit this aerea do not touch the seastar leave them in the water, they die if you take them out.

Like the person above stated, you can spend as much as you want. If you want to travel by bus, boat , walk or ride a bike all depends on you. It can be really cheap if you research the trip and plan it out. It doesn't... More

Boat ride with a water taxi or you can ride bikes. There is one road in with a bit of a walk (10 min) from where the road ends at another beach. The bike ride is beautiful and takes about 40 mins.
