Nice beach
Feb 2020
We rented e-bikes to cycle out to the beach; the road is quite pot-holed and the asphalt is missing is some places. We enjoyed our journey! The bus costs $2.50 and a cab, $15 one way. No swimming on the beach due to riptides

Peaceful setting to check out
Feb 2020 • Couples
It is a bumpy ride to get here from Bocas Town but worth it. The setting is gorgeous and you can have your own part of the beach with no one nearby or choose to sit at the area with drinks and food. Very relaxing. And the drive there (bus, taxi or quad - don’t try to bike) is lovely too, despite the potholes.

The end of the bus line.....
Oct 2019
Not much to see / do at Drago itself - but a $1 ponga (boat) ride or a 15 minute trail walk takes you to Starfish Beach. Only a $5 round trip bus ride from downtown Bocas Town to Drago. Clear sea water, starfish, lots of food and beer shacks on the beach - or walk beyond those to open beach if you prefer.

Beautiful tropical beach

Not very wide, as in not a lot of sand to relax on but crystal clear warm waters. I visited during off season abd there was almost no one else around

a tropical dream beach
Jul 2019 • Family
We roamed over there on ATVs rented by Flying Pirates. A very nice and safe drive ending up on this dreamy beach. We had excellent lunch there at the first Restaurant and spend a magical moment.

Calm waters and sometimes good snorkeling
May 2019 • Solo
People often refer to Starfish Beach and Bocas del Drago as the same but there are three other beaches that offer solitude and beauty. Starfish Beach, once a quiet spot, is now crowded with restaurants and people and boats and loud music. Even, the Starfish are leaving. First beach to visit is just off the walking trail to Starfish--it is quiet and a great place to go for a swim. Second beach is just off the sand road before entering Drago. Clear water-great place for a dip and lots of shade. Third beach is at the end of Drago rd to the right-sometimes great snorkeling depending on wind and seas.

Jul 2019 • Couples
We rented a golf cart and drove through the rainforest to the beach, It took about an hour. Lots of pot holes along the way all the way up to the beach, There is a restaurant there and very limited parking.

Playa del Drago (Drago Beach)
Mar 2019 • Solo
On the Western side of the Island and a 10 mile drive from Bocas Town, this is a hidden gem of a beach, and is the stopping off point to get to the famous "Starfish Beach".

The journey there is so much fun!

We rented a Jeep and drove out there and on the way the local community kids stepped out in the road and danced. It was an Indian dance and it was so much fun!

Awesome
Apr 2018 • Family
Bocas Del Drago can be reached from the town of Bocas either in a bus or by a pleasant boat ride. To need to get to star fish beach, one needs to arrive here. It was an awesome experience for my family to explore this place. Would certainly recommend visiting this place while in Bocas.
