Whilst enjoying breakfast at the german bakery (see my other Posts) we bumped into Marcel, a 55 year old, fit pirate looking, German born local. We already booked a regular tour, but were talked in to joining Marcel on the H20, his majestic catamaran. The weather was extraordinary and the boat was spacious enough to fit the eleven of us: all... More

My wife and I sailed with Marcell in mid-June. The weather was perfectly sunny but not overly conducive for sailing. Marcell still made the most of the poor wind and all had a great time. The snorkeling was actually better than I had anticipated as there is still a lot of live coral in the area rather than a bunch... More

Relaxing day trip on a catamaran with two spots for snorkling. We have seen several dolphines and a shark. The first snorkling spot was close to the Mangrove: I have never seen so many fishes outside of a tank. Skipper speaks Spanish, English and German. Meeting Point was in the park. (I have needed a call to find that out.)

We booked a trip with Bocas Sailing spontaneously. Marcell answered our E-Mail request within a few minutes and picked us the next day up at the park from which we went to his boat. We had luck that only 2 other guests have booked the same day so we have been a small group of 4 people and there was... More

I had a great time with Marcell as our captain! Myself and 3 friends had this catamaran to ourselves for an entire day. Marcell made us sub sandwiches and bartended. He took us to a great spot for snorkeling (although I did get a sea urchint splinter so I recommend water shoes!). We also saw a bunch of Dolphins. I... More

I had a large group of almost 40 students split between 2 days, and we had a wonderful time sailing with Marcell. It is a relaxing day, and the snorkel spots are amazing, especially under the mangroves. It was nothing I had ever seen before, looking into the mangrove forests under water, looked like an aquarium. I highly recommend Bocas... More

I went on several snorkeling tours and none come close to Bocas Sailing. The 2 reefs we went to were unbelievable. This is not a party boat ( unless all your friends are on board), it's a kick back mellow ride to great snorkeling. Marcel is very accommodating to what you want. This is not a fancy boat, but you... Captain's soul is in the catamaran. He is very knowledgeable and tries to make the sailing experience as good as possible. Nice way to relax, get some sun, see dolphins and experience some great snorkeling.

Tried to book a public daytrip but their office was "under construction". We were told to meet someone from Bocas Sailing on Mon.at the Bolivar statue in the square at 9:30. At 9:45, Joey showed up and said: no problem. We reserved for 4 for Wed and gave a $20 deposit. Marcell confirmed the trip on Tues night and then... More

Yes, our office is under construction it will open in April. And yes, we overbooked and it was a mistake on our part. It was Easter week, spring break and town was full. It was a mistake on our part for the over booking. We paid the owner of Dolphin Bay back the $20 via pay pal. Nothing more to... More
