This place scammed me and an American girl, we were wanting to get to Red Frog Island faster because we'd missed the 1pm ferry from Selina Hostel and the next was at 3:30pm. This American girl said she'd been quoted a cheaper price at this one so we went and inquired and got scammed. Things to know - Selina hostel offer ROUND TRIP for $7 to Red Frog Island with flexible return times up until midnight. It's literally down the street from this scam place so if you're still looking for somewhere to get a water taxi you can go there and you don't have to be staying at the hostel to use it. Jampon scammer offered us ONE WAY for $8 and with their "special" wristband you only pay $3 to enter the island instead of the usual $5. We paid $11 at the vendor in Bocas and the boat took us to Red Frog, the driver gave us back the $3 each we paid at the vendor to give to the guy who takes payment for entering the island right on the dock. The boat driver leaves immediately and the guy taking the entry fees tells us it's $5 and he has no idea what this wrist band is for, that they have no relationship with Jampon and we've been scammed. It's not about the $2 it's about being a shady person scamming us, it really annoys me to stand there and barter a price and then be shocked when showing up the island. I don't even see the point because I know where the Jampon vendor is and just went back the next day to ask the guy why he did it. I didn't catch his name but he said he's been working there ten years and wouldn't bother scamming people for two bucks blah blah. Refuses to acknowledge what happened or give me back the two dollars, not even a big deal I actually just wanted to let him know I think he's a terrible person more than get my money back. He started yelling at me like I'm the bad person for calling him out, I ended up leaving but true to my word I'm leaving a review for this shady place as there are a literal ton of water taxi companies to choose from, including Selina, that won't scam you. Shame on you Jampon and the younger guy who uses the black bike out front that sold us the scam, could have just been an honest business but instead you try and grab a few extra bucks at the expense of your business name.

We originally had a tour scheduled with them for star beach etc., but they said the weather was too bad and cancelled. We asked if we could sub the Bat Caves and they did and it was amazing. Better than expected. An adventure for sure. walking, swimming through the caves, seeing Vampire, Fruit and insect bats, spiders as big as they get and stalactites that were amazing. A waterfall at the end for good measure to jump from. Not for the faint of heart, but was the most memorable adventure we had. Then off to the Blue coconut for sun, relaxation and food. a restaurant on the water that is a great spot. The pick up/drop off was on time. Guides were excellent and was a great trip.! Glad the other was cancelled.

We had set up a chocolate tour that Jampan was supposed to take us to,but they no showed and our day was lost. They are unreliable and expensive compared to other places. I wish I had gone with any of the other water taxi places. Don’t make the same mistake as me.

I booked a boat ride here to do a chocolate farm tour. It left over an hour late, and to make up time, the driver drove at full speed into the waves, bouncing the boat up and down the whole way, it was really scary and uncomfortable. The chocolate farm owners were not pleased that we arrived late. Find a more professional tour operator who leaves on time and doesn’t make their guests wait an hour, then scare the living hell out of them with a very uncomfortable boat ride.

We booked a tour for indigenous village, dolphin bay and snorkeling. SO cool It seemed a little unorganized cause the guide didnt really know exactly what we were going to do but that was okay. We told him the overall plan and he helped us SO good along the way. When we came to the indigenous village he helped getting people that showed us how to make a bag out of small fibers in leaves. And also he showed us around. In dolphin bay he was careful with the dolphins and had a lot of patience, we could take as many photos as we wanted, he just waited patiently. Snorkling was great! He showed us a great spot! in dolphin bay. He didnt stress us at all, we had all the time in the world, it was only me and my boyfrined on the tour but he gave us 100% first class service.
