Beautiful lighthouse, looks fabulous at sunset. Next to a wonderfully warm little lagoon which we swam in at night with a glorious sheet of stars overhead, lit up by the beams of light from the lighthouse. Returned early the next morning to swim while watching the sun rise.

Free access to the grounds around the lighthouse but not much to see. The lighthouse is picturesque and definitely worth a stop.

In brief: we didnt go to the lighthouse because the beach that was adjacent to it seemed way more interesting. There's what i would consider an unusual rock formation that turns a significant part of the bay into an enclosed fullsized pool. We watched a game of water polo through these calm waters and walked through the tide pools to... More

The white lighthouse Oluanpi with surrounding walls, is an interesting place. The walls was built along time ago when inhabitants protested against the light house. Now it is a museum.

it's a pretty place to a picture... nothing special really. To the right as you come in there is a medium sized lagoon with a pebble shore - not coral. It's suitable for kids close to the shore. and at high tide it's deep enough to swim in.

The lighthouse was built with a donation from the US after SS Hoover sank in 1939. I thought that was pretty cool, a much needed item for the island and it stands just as tall and beautiful as ever.

Come here for excellent sunset photo during your stay on the Green Island and you'll never be disappointed! Please do take note that it can get up to 43oC during the day time here, put some sun screen on!
