I is a very beautiful ancient temple. It is small but peaceful. We had a guided tour of the history of the temple and it was interesting.. One of the must visit places when in Kandy. The entrance is small and one could miss it.

Beautiful temple. Unfortunately, the attitude with us of an old man was a trap ! They faked a blessing rite and then asked for money. The monk should be ashamed of himself! Don't give money to him. Be brave and say goodbye!

A stunning temple (and large grounds to cover). Definitely worth a visit. Try and attend a puja here if you can but if you are very sound-sensitive the loud bell-ringing may be hard for you. Still an extremely memorable experience
