Very nice presentation folowed by selling overpriced items. For example the masks are sold 5 times more than outside in the market . They will tell you that it is better quality, but it still don’t justify the gup. Enjoy the tour but don’t buy...More

This is a pretty obvious tourist trap once you get in there. I have to say that the start of the experience was enjoyable as they bring you through the different types of wood and give you a little display of colour chemistry to show...More

We tailor made a wooden sign for gals’ bedroom. It cost is usd90 but the product was disappointing. It was literally plank of wood with the names blocked carved in. Can’t imagine being charged the price with such quality.

This place has the same kitsch and gauche carvings for elephants and monkeys in other places. However, we did find more high quality craft here. The prices were also better than other places but we didn't end up buying anything as we were not sure...More

Beautifull place with excellent service. The staff including the managment is really great. We bought two different things for a very good price. You can see and admire the and work of the workers at the shop. Totally recommended!!

Nice place to look at what's available but definitely over the top in prices. And if this is the first stop in Kandy for shopping that your tour guide brought you to, enjoy the woodcarving and painting shows well as the variety but shop elsewhere.

The workshop tour was fascinating and the color changing display by the rainbow wood shavings brings "woo" whoa". When I saw the price on the showroom I was also "whoa!" When I saw small elephant carvings and it just look normal. It's definitely higher than...More

We purchased an elephant table and some carvings from Rajanima back in late June while visiting Kandy. It has taken five months and hundreds of emails to get the item to the USA. And we have paid in customs fees and other shipping charges almost...More
