We felt a bit in a tourist trap for the first part with many foreigners as the traditional dancing was ok but not shocking. Towards the end it got more upbeat - nice traditional outfits - the mask dance was good. The fire act act at the end was impressive together with the music and the smoke.. Don't sit in... More

A must for any visit to Kandy. Book tickets early to confirm a good seat. Have a look at the art stall available at the end.

We thought it was a dry touristic attraction but we ended up enjoying the show which presents various dances and several performances with fire. Our daughter really loved it.

This was a nice activity to see. The authentic dancing and costumes were nice. It was a bit repetitive with similar dance routines. More explanation of the different routines, masks, and costumes would be great

Our driver highly recommended traditional Kandyan dance as part of our trip. It costs 1000 LKR per person which seemed reasonable for a cultural experience. Oh what a mistake it was. One hour (4:45-5:45) of noise making accompanied by awkward dance moves. Avoid this experience if you wish to have a pleasant evening. However, if you insist on doing it,... More

I went to show in oak regency hotel. It was nice to watch but i had to wait long before it started at 16:30. Our guide brought us there too early to see the terrible shops around. But still the dance was a funny thing. Outside is the flaming final...
