A huge shout out to team Destination Sri Lanka for organising our recent trip to Sri Lanka. Thank you very much for putting together a perfect itinerary which make the best out of our days and ticked off places from our bucket list. We covered so many places from long sandy beaches in Hikkaduwa to the most scenic Hill country in Ella / Nuwara Eliya and Sacred city of Anuradhapura during our 2 weeks stay.
Special Thanks to Nimali for being proactive from the beginning she is competent, very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about Sri Lanka. When we mentioned the places, we would like to cover she crafted the itinerary including her suggestion and always giving us the flexibility to pick and choose what we like. We travelled with our sons, aged 6 and 13, so she always tries to customise the itinerary to make it more comfortable around them which we really appreciate, and our kids loved the whole journey and keeps reminiscing about their experience. So, if you are planning to travel alone or with family, she is your go to person!
The Scenic train journey to Ella, Railway hike to 9 Arch Bridge, Flying Ravana Zip Line Adventure, Interacting with Elephants at Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, The Iconic Lion Rock (Sigiriya) and the gorgeous beaches in Hikkaduwa are the highlights from our trip.
The Hotels picked by Destination Sri Lanka were incredible! We get to enjoy the Authentic flavours of Sri Lanka and experience the tropical breeze during our stay. Thank you so much Suren for your quick response and assistance when making all the hotel reservations and the amendment as requested.
Special thanks to our drivers Sarath and Chandimal who kept us safe on roads and provided timely information about locations during the whole journey.
During the last couple of days of our vacation we get to experience the night life and shopping in Colombo Sri Lanka. Food was amazing and the people are so warm and welcoming.

My husband & I had the best 8 days in Sri Lanka! The people are all smiles, helpful, respectful and kind. The country has lots to offer and the food is so tasty and delicious! Our driver Irshad Hossen spent our last day in Colombo driving us around and opened up his home and introduced us to his family for tea. Made it a truly special experience for us and we enjoyed getting to know him better! Loved it all and we’ll definitely be back!

Just returned from Sri Lanka and had a wonderful experience with the help of Destination Sri Lanka. I received many quotes from various tour companies and Namali made it easy to select her company. She is extremely professional, quick to answer questions and inquiries, well priced and eager to accommodate my specific needs. My only regret is not enlisting her services in the initial planning stages of this trip. Next time I will leave the planning to her as she is the pro!
Our driver, Iresh, was energetic, fun, polite, and took great care of my friend and I throughout the trip. In addition to showing us the beautiful sites Sri Lanka has to offer, he was able to provide a glimpse into the local culture that truly made this an amazing experience. While sight seeing, driving or sharing a meal, he was quick to offer a story, advice or go out his way to ensure we had an incredible time.
I made a fresh batch of Sri Lankan hoppers this morning thanks to his eagerness to find a local market that sold the special pans and hopper mix. This is just one of the many examples Iresh provided to make this trip a truly unique, memorable experience!! I highly recommend Iresh if you are looking for a fun experience in addition to seeing the beautiful country.

In October/ November last year, I went on a holiday to Sri Lanka organised by Destination Sri Lanka and I can't thank them enough for providing such a comprehensive and enjoyable trip around the island. We felt we had a real adventure. From visiting World Heritage sites including the Buddhist temples, to the beautiful countryside of the tea plantations to having a rest on the beach. The tour was everything we envisioned and more. The team were extremely responsive and listened to our requests tailoring some of the tour to more of our taste. I can't recommend them enough. I would definitely use them again, it is great to use a local company to get their insights and knowledge. And the price for this luxury tour was extremely competitive.

Our 6 days in Sri Lanka was wonderful. Thank you Destination Sri Lanka for kind advice and trip arrangement. We covered Sigiriya, Kandy, Ella, Udawalawe and Tangelle within 6 days. Special thank you to our driver, Mr. Shyam,who made things possible for us.

Destination Sri Lanka gave us a beautiful holiday. We were shown the most beautiful places and our trip was trouble free. Sri Lanka has everything to offer: mountains, sea, history, good food and above all, great hospitality. Our concerns following the terrorist bombings in April 2019 were put to rest and we felt safe, looked after and cared for.
We chose this company from the Rough Guide and it exceeded our expectations. They arranged everything for us at the drop of a hat, and even changed our itinerary for us when we requested it while on tour, on one occasion finding us a new hotel at a few hours notice. Iresh our driver was very helpful and I could not managed without him. For busy people in need of a company which they can trust to book everything and organise the logistics of a tour, I strongly recommend Desination Sri Lanka. In choosing a tour operator, it is worth also noting that the company is Sri Lankan owned, meaning the money you pay stays in the country.

Although we largely organised our own itinerary we used Destination Sri Lanka to provide a car and chauffeur for our vist covering all the typical tourist areas. In all our dealings beforehand, Nimal De Silva, the manager, was prompt and efficient, and offered various suggestions. Most importantly he stressed the flexibility we could enjoy dring the trip, and there were no hidden extras - we paid what we were quoted for.
He met us at the airport, sorted ut local SIM cards etc. but for the majrity of the tour our driver was Jalayath who was a safe driver, prompt, efficient and very frendly. Whilst not a registered tourist guide (but we had all the information we wanted on sited from the Rough Guide) he was very helpful ensuring we bought the righ tickeys eyc at sites, and was a mine of information about a variety of aspects of Sri Lankan life, customs, food etc. that added sigbificantly to our enjoyment of the holiday.

We had a tour arranged in Sri Lanka in March 2019 which we booked in the UK. Our first trip to this wonderful tropical island. The organisation of the trip was very comprehensive and we were assigned Iresh as our guide and driver. Iresh is an exceptional driver and was hospitable and kind throughout our trip which went extremely well thanks to his knowledge, navigational skills and punctuality. I would highly recommend Sri Lanka as a holiday destination and Iresh as a reliable and hospitable guide to look after you and show you around.

I greatly enjoyed visiting the places on my tour. In particular, Polonnaruwa was spectacular! The tea garden visit at Pedro Estates was amazing too! I also really enjoyed meeting the people on my trip. In addition, my guide Chathura was very knowledgeable and really looked after me. When the tour was over, I realized that I would have to come back and learn more about the beautiful country that is Sri Lanka!

We absolutely love Sri Lanka. The trip you put together for us has been outstanding. We have done so much and seen so many different sides of your beautiful country that it is lucky that I have been keeping a few notes every evening in order to remind us of the day's events.
Highlights have been a fabulous morning hike on Horton Plains in glorious sunshine, the train trip to Nuwara Eliya, and of course the safari in Yala. And guess who saw not one but two leopard ? Admittedly one was walking away from us and the other one was in a tree but both were clear sightings. That was an exciting morning.
Irish has been such a great guide. He has driven us safely, been an interesting and informative companion and we have felt so well looked after for the entire trip. You are very lucky to be able to call on him for your clients.
Our tour has exceeded our expectations in every way all thanks to you.

As I said earlier we can do any tour you want to, we have excellent guides. Nimal is in another company. If you send us that particular itinerary or if you let us know the places that they have visited, we can prepare an itinerary to cover them all.
