A visit over to this island is interesting but there are not many explicit places to visit. This buddhist temple, and the nearby hindu one are both worth a bit of time. The small museum has some interesting exhibits

You have to travel by a Boat in the see to reach Nagadeepa Island. The Nagadeepa Buddhist Temple is the key religious place in the Island and there are Hindu Kovils too.

During you visit to the temples, take a ride or a walk around the island. The boat ride to the island is exciting. Spend some time & explore the island.

Boty the Buddhist & Hindu tempkes well worth a visit. Inside Buddhist temple are lovely wall painting depicting the historical story of this spiritual site. Only Buddhist temple in Jaffna area. We had the overcrowded boat that was a little hairaising but return was comfortable.
