Hikkaduwa is very small town on the way from Galle to Bentota. This beach is one of the tourist attraction on the south coast of Sri Lanka. This is famous for Turtle, crab etc. Coral sanctury is located about 5 kilometers from the beach.

Nice place watch out for the sea turtles. If something hits you most likely it's a turtle. Try not to kick or stomp on them then they would most likely end up at the turtle faculties And sit in a tank and slowly die in...More

This beach offers so much! Turtles, swimming, rocks, crabs, surfing, coconuts! Beautiful place. Family friendly. And locals go around selling all sorts of souvenirs. People are very friendly.

Nice sandy beach when the tide is out. There's a section of beach nearby that has coral and fish and moray eels. Great for snorkeling. This section is protected by rocks which almost creates a swimming pool scenario.

If you watch carefully you will see turtles surfing in the waves, very close to the shore. There are a few turtles called Monica and Rosie, plus a few of their friends, that come right up to the shore edge, and you can... More

Lived there for 25 years. Should be good as South-Western monsoon rains should be finished by then. That said ‘Sunny and possible thunderstorm in the afternoon’ is the most common weather forecast!
