We had the pleasure of Dilan's company for two days of our holiday in Sri Lanka, as he drove us first from Colombo to Hambantota. At our request for some lunch he took us to a beautiful beachside restaurant in Tangalle on the way. He also told us lots of things about Sri Lanka, its history, customs etc.
While we were in Hambantota, his brother-in-law Sam took us on some excellent safaris in the national parks.
On our final day in Sri Lanka, we had booked Dilan to take us back from Hambantota to Negombo ahead of our flight home. As well as a pre-agreed visit to Galle, Dilan took us to a tea plantation and turtle conservation project, where we released baby turtles back into the ocean. He also stopped at various places along the coast for us to look around and take pictures. Even though all these extras meant Dilan worked a very long day, he didn't charge us extra and was genuinely happy for us to take as long as we wanted in each location. He even posted some cards for us the following day, as we had arrived too late in Galle to get to the post office to buy stamps.
We would highly recommend Dilan for anyone travelling to Sri Lanka and wanting a knowledgeable driver and guide.

Best services I’ve ever experienced. Basically 10/10 for everything, but so Dilan really goes that extra mile. You can trust his wisdom, tips, etc., he is really going to personalize the services, making the best out of it for you.

Dilan drove us from Hambantota to Colombo and stopped at several sights along the way, including tea plantation and turtle hatchery. He was a very calm and safe driver in a modern clean car/van. He was also very knowledgeable and gave us more information than expensive tour guides. Would definite recommend.

Dilan went above and beyond to give us a great trip. He is a safe driver and an awesome guide. His knowledge on everything the country has to offer is really impressive. He is also very service minded and helped us with requirements even when we were on other trips. We highly recommend going on day trips, or longer, with him!

We had a great experience of ontime, neat clean car with WiFi enabled service. Highly recommended for anyone doing trips in SriLanka. Nice English speaking driver well aware of everything around and very helpful.

Everything started with a « comment allez-vous mademoiselle? » on the phone that let me guess that we were about to have a wonderful journey with Dilan. Our host in Colombo booked Dilan for us so that he can drive us to Sigirîya and Polonnaruwa, and then take us to Kandy. Dilan was always nice and smiling, his car is super comfortable (it even has Bluetooth so that we can listen to our music during the 4-hour drive). Dilan was our guide for a few days:
- he took us to an amazing local place to have lunch in Polonnaruwa, we had a great Sri Lankian lunch in a restaurant where we were the only tourists
- he drove us to a cool place to rent bikes around Polonnaruwa
- he booked a great hotel in Kandy for us and negotiated the price :)
I highly recommend to send him a message if you are looking for a driver/guide, even for a very short time, everywhere in Sri Lanka!

I was in a group of 4 and we had organised Dilan to drive us through parts of Sri Lanka. From the start to finish he was fantastic. On time, excellent english, very friendly, very knowledgable and would stop anywhere we asked! A very safe driver too. Dylan had great local recommendations for shopping, tourist sites, and food. Our highlight was Dilan taking us to his sister's place for a home cooked lunch which was the best meal we had in Sri Lanka. I would recommend Dilan as a driver and tourist guide for people/groups of all ages. it was an extremely cost effective, efficient and easy way to get around Sri Lanka.

We were on a family trip from the South to Ella, Nuwara Eliya and Kandy with Dilan while on holiday in Sri Lanka in April. He had planned a lovely three-day itinerary according to our wishes from the South via Ella, Nuwara Eliya and Kandy to the airport with loads of interesting sights (plus he had a very comfortable car). We were happily en route when the news from the bombing started to get in. It was an extremely stressful situation for both parties but you could not have guessed it from the wonderful experience we had. With the curfew and unclear safety situation we could not continue as planned but this was no hindrance to Dilan: he quickly arranged an ad hoc "safe haven" for us from a nice hotel and even contacted the original hotel and negotiated our payment back. He thought of interesting "secure" things to experience so we did not end up missing an awful lot during these last days of our holiday. He kept us quickly informed of all developments and was very calm and reassuring while taking all the necessary precautions. He even checked on us at home after the flight back wanting to know everything went well and we were safe.
Dilan is a very knowledgeable, dedicated, articulate and flexible guide and we could not recommend him highly enough. We are determined to go back to wonderful Sri Lanka one day and plan a long round trip with him.

Three friends and myself went to Sri Lanka not knowing how to really get around and feeling a bit nervous. We booked Dilan on a recommendation of a friend and it took all the worry away and was the highlight of our trip. He planned our trip before we went and sent us updates after he would drop us off at destinations - there was a storm while we were there and he offered to come and get us. He is so knowledgeable of the history and is all around a lovely man. At the end of our trip he took us to his family home and they cooked us an amazingly Sri Lankan meal. We definitely wouldn't have had the trip we had without him. Thanks Dilan!
