There are no buses going to the site regularly so you might have to hike for 12 kms each way to or from the closest city, Zajecar if you are not driving. Return taxi fare is 1000 RSD with half hour wait time. However, the...More

It's an outdoor archaeological site, and my only tip would be not to forget to ask about guidance, as you're entitled to the tour guide showing you around.

It's an interesting site, even for non-connisseurs like us, but be sure to ask the guide who sells you the tickets for a tour around the place, as you're entitled to it! We didn't know that until we arrived to Zaječar.

It is not so monumental as Colosseum for example, but still fascinating. Perfect scenography for the fascinating historical story that you have already knew or you will hear there from a kind guide. Do not miss to visit National museum in Zajecar where you can...More

Our visit to this well preserved Roman palace was the highlight of our trip to Serbia. Our guide was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. I would travel here again.

It's not easy to get there, and once you do, there's not much to see. All the ear and tear of your personal automobile, you'd think they government might do a little bit more to make the road that proudly displays their history better. I...More

Yes, a day trip fro Belgrade is possible, but it takes about 3.5 hours by car, or in the best case 2.5 from Belgrade to Felix Romuliana.
