A wonderful walk and place to enjoy all the views of the coastline. You can hike all the way to Old Town Budva from here which I highly recommend. It’s about 6-7 miles through beach towns and boardwalks, only once or twice on the main road. A great way to see this stunning area.

Walk down to the beach from the Sveti Stefan exit, have lunch at the little beach bar in front of Sveti Stefan. Enjoy the views and walk thru the Pineforest to Milocer. The views are stunning and the walk is about 10 minutes. It makes a great half day trip or lay on the beach all day afterwards. It is one of the most beautiful places ,a real small paradise.

I always recommend this on the Montenegro Messageboard. You can take the little shuttle bus that runs every 10 minutes from Budva to Sveti Stefan, walk down to the beach from the Sveti Stefan exit, have lunch at the little beach bar in fron of Sveti Stefan. Enjoy the views and walk thru the Pineforest to Milocer. The views are stunning(the walk is 10 minutes). It makes a great half day trip or lay on the beach all day afterwards. It is one of the most beautiful places on earth

Sad non-strategy of selling off historically significant space to the highest bidder. However if you’re after a walking gallery of Botox inspo you’re in luck!! More plastic than a Barbie convention. Oh, and you’ll find far superior, prettier, cleaner and cheaper (or free) beaches elsewhere. Joke’s on you, aristo-wannabes!

It is nothing wrong with the park itself, but the level of limitations everywhere is just annoying. The beaches are effectively closed down if you’re not willing to pay. I have learned that coastal areas are supposed to be protected by a law enabling everyone to enjoy the beaches and the water, but that corruption enables hotel owners to charge extortionate prices for sunbeds (we saw 120 euro/day ourselves) and even intimidating guests using security guards. Travelling a bit further, away from Budva, Przno, Milocer and Sveti Stefan, lets you enjoy Montenegro a bit more. For example at Canj. Still packed, but reasonable prices and nicer people.

Nice park with unfortunately limited access to the beach because of the hotel policy. Hotel does not have legal right to forbid access to the beach, but their security will not allow you. And local (corrupted) govornment allows them to do so. Unfortunately, sometimes that's how thing go in Montenegro.

It is difficult to distinguish Milocer Park from the Aman run hotel of Villa Milocer and Sveti Stefan. It is a wooded park with paved pathways that are public. It sits between the Sveti Stefan island and Przno and runs along the sea shore and up the hill to the main road
Sveti Stefan has a delightfully romantic island just some meters for the shore. Once a village it was emptied during the 'reign' of Marshal Tito the communist dictator that ran the former Yugoslavia. He turned the walled village into a playground for his visitors and friends in a communist state where '' all citizens were equal'' evidently some were more equal than others. The demise of communism saw the demise of Sveti Stefan until the Montenegran Republic looked for interested parties to develop the decaying island buildings. Enter the wealthy Aman Resort group.
Now a five star hotel where the rich and famous are assured of privacy as the island is only accessible via a guarded causeway. The beach at Sveti Stefan is private to the hotel but the pathway to Milocer Park is adjacent to this beach and public. The walk is quite lovely particularly where it rises to the top of a headland.
Here the pink rocks to sit on offer a beautiful view of the island hotel. Once over the headland the walk descends to another beach and the Villa Milocer once a summer home of the Montenegran Royal family. On the other hand Sveti Stefan had once been the summer home of the Queen of Serbia. The Villa is also a Aman Rersort , the beach again is private but the public walkway means that you can freely walk in front of the one time Palace on your way to the woods.
Not all that spectacular as a wooded walk but much of the pleasure is being among private residences who must wish you were not there. The walkway is public from where it begins and where it ends is a real treat. Leaving the opulence of the two Aman Resorts you arrive in the small village of Przno and it wonderful setting and beach.
So if you feel like thumbing your nose to the privileged and wealthy who cannot prevent you from strolling close to their preserve,this for me made it a little more entertaining.

Looking for a nice walk, want to take a run or just like to enjoy a bit of Mediterranean vegetation? Look no further, Milocher Park is your place. Something between a botanical garden (Arboretum) and park, with everything from pine trees to mimosa. A beautiful promenade in and out of olives and cypresses. This is a definite a must see place for anyone visiting Sveti Stefan! Milocher Park is also famous for the former summer resident of royal families (now Hotel Milocher). If you do it during high season in hot weather, go as early as possible in the day when still cool and shadowy. It’s a moderate walk through a lovely green vegetation and flowers with views of the sea and beaches. But, it’s not a place to walk through looking for a beach to take a swim: here it’s very pricey, but if you pay the price, you’ll get access to beautiful sandy beaches not packed with people, nice and peaceful with service (something you dream about when lying packed like sardines at the public beaches). At the end - or start - you have the small shopping area with cafés and supermarket. Also the great playground for the kids, and on the other side of the wall and road to Aman Resort the public beach.
So, whether you want to take that brisk walk or run in the morning, or go for an exploring stroll with the family, this is where you do it in Sveti Stefan.

We walked along the coastal path from Przno beach (past the Blanche Restaurant) to Sveti Stefan. You'll see what looks like a private path which has a white security hut/barrier but it is actually a public one and this takes you past Queens and Kings beaches along the way. These beaches were virtually deserted given the extortionate price you have to pay to enjoy them! But all the same nice to see and the path is a peaceful one, wooded in parts, before you round a corner and glimpse the little sea jewel which is Sveti Stefan. Its only a mile or so from Przno and we are glad we took this route on foot rather than try and park in Sveti itself.
We found the Agora cafe, behind the beach in the main shopping precinct, to be a really good stopping point for a coffee and simple lunch/snack.

Beautiful place for walking. There is a good viewpoint for the Sveti Stefan island. Also I will recommend you to visit Villa Milocer. It is a place with wonderful view on the bay and island. The place is expensive but the atmosphere and view totally worth it! By the way it was a residence of Yugoslavia’s Queen.

A big ask ... we have been to Montenegro for the last two year. The first year was a short 4 day break and we stayed in Kotor but thought the country so stunning that it deserved a better look.
This year we went back to Kotor for two nights, and then spent the final 4 at The Hotel Poseidon on Jaz Beach - about a 10 euro taxi ride from Budva.
So, this year we are considering staying in either Sveti Stefan or Budva or Becici ... so that we could maybe go on a trip to the interior. (even considering staying overnight)
We went to Mount Lovcen this year, so are looking more at the Lake Skadar
Any information would be gratefully received.

Hello. Considering between Sveti Stefan, Budva or Becici, please note that in Budva you can get better choice where to stay. Also in Budva there are organized a lot of excursions and to lake Skadar as well. However, Becici and Sveti Stefan are also good place for staying. In addition, I highly reccomended to spent one day at least near Sveti Stefan. There are a beatiful hotel situated on a small peninsula, also two fabulous beaches and wonderful nationa park.
Is the beach with a free access ?Price for sunbed and umbrella?For guest of Nobu?

Hello ........
High season price for entrance and for two sunbeds and umbrella is 131 € on King Nikola’s beach in front of hotel villa Miločer imcluding towells ,water and fruit salad. Holel’s guests have free wifi acces and they not charging hotel guests for the same price.
Nobu is on the top of the hill on a righ hand side from sea side a few minutes walking distance from villa Miločer thus same restaurant is not a part of same hotel so .........

How would I get here from kotor? Could I take a transfer?

You could take a taxi that would be around €25 each way or bus from Kotor to Budva, explore Budva and take the little shuttle bus that runs every 10 min between Budva and Sveti Stefan(stop is just outside the old town by the circle)
You will pass Milocer on that bus, exit Sveti Stefan , walk to the beach there (also a nice little restaurant to enjoy) and walk thru the Pine Forest to Milocer. It is a stunning walk and only takes 10 min from Sveti Stefan

My sister and I will be in Montenegro in mid-September, and would enjoy walking this path and taking in the scenery. Did you have to pay 75 euros per person? Do you know if it's free to people who stay in local hotels?

To enjoy on a walking tour through the Miločer park till the St. Stieven iceland You do not have to pay ,it is free. Coastsl path is beautiful as well as park.
