This is one of the most beautiful places of worship which I have ever been to. I didn’t know what to expect when I walked inside the synagogue but what I found really took my breath away. I would highly recommend.

If you want to see a beautiful piece of architecture then it's a must visit. The sheet beauty of the building cannot be put up in words.

The outside visit and the outdoor garden is free, and 250 dinar / pers is paid to visit the interior. (approx. 2 Euro). It is worth visiting inside. I do not know if previous programming has to be done, but when I was, a visiting group was there and we were allowed access. Synagogue, City Hall and Raichle Palace - Top 3 to visit in Subotica.

Really worth having a good look at this amazing building which was built as a memorial but an immensely decorative building and fencing - just beautiful1

If you visit Subotica you must see the Synagogue. A beautiful building. There is a small tax for entrance.

The structure is beautiful, and great for photography. Located close to city centre, with many shops and amenities around. Parking can be challenge.

One of the glories of both Art Nouveau architecture & European synagogue design. Recently magnificently restored. Sadly, not yet generally open to public, but can get in if someone from Jewish community is around. The whole town is a small gem, but the synagogue is alone worth a trip from Budapest

A fabulous Art Nouveau building, extensively restored and currently in excellent condition. Admire the building but note the memorial tablet to 4000 Subotica Jews killed by the Nazis. The memorial tablet has several statements: in Serbian Cyrillic, in Serbian Latin, in English, in Hebrew- a difficult task well achieved.

An absolutely unique architectural work: a synagogue with Hungarian folk-art motives. Beautifully restored both outside and inside. Unfortunately, the interior of the building currently is not open to the public. But even from outside, the building is worth a visit.
The easiest(but not the cheapest) way to get there is to go to Szeged in Hungary and take a taxi from there (about 100 euros round trip).
