This town is one of the most beautifull in Serbia. It has very interesting history, lots of galerries of very popular artists in Serbia, beatifull theatre and museum, city hall. It is the 2nd "green" town in the world, because it has a lot of trees. It has great geografic position - Hungary is 30km and Croatia 30 km away. It is 18 km away from Danube in Apatin where is the grate sandy beach and great restaurants whith specialities from this region. Sombor has the hipodrom, tennis fields in the wood, swiming pools - outside and inside. Many songs have been written about horses, restaurants, women, woods, writers and many interesting people from Sombor.
Sombor is very cheep regarding to Belgrade and Europe.
There are many restaurants with live music.
I recomende it with all my heart.

new modern look in old fashion way gives charm to main street. many beautiful coffee places are located there

If you want to discover the most essential of Sombor, go on this street, and get a coffee. it has this nice Voivodina atmosphere of quietness. Don't forget to visit the nearby green market

Very unique street, so wide that you can not decide if it is street or very, very long square. Pleasant for a walking and review of interesting architecture. There are a lot of cafes and few restaurants.

This is a very lovely pedestrian street where you can sit in a shadow, drink a coffee or maybe a beer and relax watching the people going here and there.

Great shopping and great food. Sombor was my favorite Serbian city. The people are friendly and the city was so clean. I found great deals and enjoyed the entertainment. Hotels are close and can spend days just checking everything out

Picture was taken on an unusually quite day. Usually this street is busy with locals visiting in outdoor coffee shops, people shopping and children running around and eating sladoled (ice cream). The people are so friendly here, make sure you visit one of the many coffee shops or restaurants.
