I visited as part of a group and the local tourist board lady let us in, I don't know if you would need to contact her before you visited, but if you get the opportunity do go and have a look. The baths are very run down and in need of serious restoration as they were last open and in use in the late 40's but restoration is apparently planned and it is still worth going because you can still very easily see the hot and cold rooms, the under floor heating spaces and the lovely domes with their many small circular windows. Once restored it will be magnificent. Watch out for holes in the floors at the moment though.

The Mehment Pasha's Turkish Baths are in theory under restoration but we didn't see much evidence of any activity during our stay in Prizren. The exterior of the building looks in good shape but based on previous comments the inside is where extensive work is required.

In miserable condition (inside) - lots of dangerous holes in the flooring and no information. If you've been to the Topkapi baths look at the outside and skip the inside.

It is currently under renovation, so you can only see the exterior of the building, surrounded by construction works at the moment.

This Hamam is only open on special occasions, when we visited it was for an art exhibition. Very beautiful and a really helpful guide!

We visited Gazi Mehmet Pasha's Bath while ambling through the city, as it was on the map of cultural heritage given to us by our hostel. There was scaffolding on one side but the door was open so we poked our heads inside. Two people seemed to be putting up or taking down an exhibition of cartoons (criticising the EU's reaction to Syrian refugees) in the first room. Some other tourists were looking at the cartoons so we figured it was ok to visit. We went through to a second room, which was empty. This is all you can currently see inside (the doorways to the rest of the complex are walled off), so it's not really worth a visit, but hopefully it will eventually be restored and accessible to visitors.
Things were fine until I took a picture of the first room on the way out. The man arranging the cartoons turned to us and said we had to leave, NOW, it was finished, and not to take pictures of them. When we left, he followed us up the steps demanding to see my pictures; when I explained I'd only taken a picture of the room he threateningly told me to show him the photos, or he would call the police. I showed him there were no people in my picture and thankfully he finally left us alone.
It was a very unsettling experience, and I was also worried that I might have cluelessly caused trouble for somebody, even though we were there for several minutes and no one told us to leave or not take photos. Hopefully it was a one off incident, but maybe check with your accommodation about what the baths are being used for.
