This is a simple, small modern road bridge across the river Moraca and the main road bridge in the heart of town. It is nothing particularly special but it is attractive and graceful. During the night, it is nicely lighted underneath and has nice street lighting along it on top. It is an attractive sight to view from the Skaline fortress or Hotel Podgorica, both next to it, and is a visually attractive monument. Although primarily a major street bridge, it has a nice pedestrian sidewalk on both sides, with nice lighting. so it is easy and pleasant to walk across it between the two sides. We walked from our hotel, the Hotel Podgorica, into the heart of town to make an easy and enjoyable walk through the Skaline fort, the Stari Most, through the old town (Stara Varos) and to the Osmanagic square, back up to the parliament and King Nikola monument, then back to the hotel. This is an easy walk and the bridge also offers nice views of the river area from the top.

When actually walking in the bridge it's okay, built with this millennium but isn't the millennium bridge located close by. You can get lovely views of the river below from viewpoints however

We saw it while approaching the city center right off the M2.3 highway. Bridge looks pretty normal, with nothing unusual about its design or color.

Glad the authorities gave priority to reconstruction of this bridge during the first decade of this century. Re-opened in 2009 it is now a busy link connecting west and east Podgorica. Modern in appearance with pedestrian lanes on both sides and illuminated at night the bridge meets the requirements of the new age.

Remarkable it kept its name Blažo Jovanović bridge, thus keeping the memory of the brave partizan communist leader Jovanović alive. Good Montenegro does not abnegate its past.

This Bridge, which cross the Moraca River, is located on the west side of the city. It is close to a number of attraction such as the Old Ribeca River Bridge, the Birziminijum Fortress and King Nicola Monument.

Just a regular bridge - with a view of "Skaline", embouchure of two small rivers. On "Skaline" - there are hundreds of years old stone ruins and stone small bridge.
You can get down usings steps next to bridge. It's a romantic place.

It's just another bridge connecting one side of the river to the other. There is nothing special about this one.

It's a bridge over the river... it does what it's meant to do and keeps your feet dry. The river is beautiful and the bridge is sturdy. Definitely recommend it instead of swimming across.

When I visited the old Ribica River Bridge I run into this new bridge over the river Moraca and it was built in the fifties of the last century. It was reconstructed for the first time in 1985, and once more in 2009, when decorative lighting that adorns it at night was set.
