This should be the #1 place to visit when in Podgorica.
The name of the capital Podgorica means "Under the Gorica" (this park actually).
It's a beautifully paved trail surrounded by thousands of trees and views of city. People plant trees over and over again every year.
It's a 20 minute walk to the top and you can see the whole city from there.

Gorica means small hill. At the foot of this hill 'pod' gorica (under the hill) the capital of Montenegro was established. Gorica is a magnificent park adjacent to the city and aims to be fully integrated into the EU Natura 2000 structure. Unique pine tree species are just one of the attractions. There is also a 2.5 km running track and lanes for cycling. Moreover there are splendid views over the city.
The only drawback for me was to find my way, as there are several lanes winding along the hill without being clearly signposted. Still if you love nature, it is the best and easiest accessible option to explore when in Podgorica.

Lots of locals regularly come here and I can see wh. Tranquil and very green scenery which allows you to either jog or walk in peace

This park is so beautiful. Tall pines trees near which you can inhale such fresh and fragrant air. You can climb up the paths and then go down. There are several different routes.
