Came to the adventure park expecting to be able to have a fun and exhilarating run through. I'm a very active person so being able to run and jump through the obstacle course would have been great. However the adult route was closed due to maintenance that had been happening for weeks and there was no information on this.
Also when I arrived I was trying to find the place to book the experience no one was there. The cafe nearby could only advise it was over there qnd didn't know where the staff were. I eventually found the staff in a tucked away cabin with the gear behind a shuttered window. They only opened it for us both to see each other when they heard me snooping around for a while, then they informed me that only the kids routes were open.

I came with 2 daughters and expected that instructors would be there at all times. But there was none. I was alone with my kids trying to help them go from a level to another. This resulted in me being hurt since I stepped on a log and hurt my lower leg. Luckily, they had a first aid kid to disinfect the wound, but I HAD TO WALK to them and ask for help since the didn't see anything. I stayed since kids wanted to try harder levels, but even then, instructor wasn't there. He did eventually showed up, but helped only when I insisted. Totally weird! The staff there are all youngsters whom I believe are not trained at all! Disappointment to the fullest.

Kids were very happy in this Adventure Park. Adults can have coffee and food in the meantime. There is an adult track too. Staff was very nice and friendly.

We've just visited this climbing course with our kids aged 14, 11, 7 and 5. They all loved it and we all able to do it independently. Our 5 year old required reminders but could do the course herself.

Park Gorica is beautiful and the climbing park is nicely maintained and well-staffed. The guys working there really taught the kids well and kept a good eye on them.

We didn't try the adult courses but I feel confident that they'd be equally impressive.

5 euros for kids 4-8, 8 euros for kids 8-14.

As for the location, lots of reviews said it was hard to find. I'll post a map photo with the accurate location. It's easy to find if you know where it is, and is not more than ten minutes' walk into the park.

We went to this park with our daughter and her two boys aged 4 and 7. We walked a little of the trails, played in the playground, but mostly the boys enjoyed the challenge courses. I believe there are 4 levels, starting with 3 to 4 yr-olds and going all the way up to an adult course. Our two boys participated in two different courses, each having an enjoyable challenge at their level. The course is fairly elaborate and appeared well monitored.

A notice at the entrance to this site in Gorica park says it is for 'Adults'. Walking through it I can imagine why. Different routes between trees high above ground -almost army style- with various degrees of difficulty involving climbing and balancing. Without precautions the consequences of a fall could be severe.
We have similar sites in forests in the NW Europe often used to challenge youngsters in tackling problems. Always under supervision of experienced climbers and instructors.

Finding the Adventure Park Gorica is a bit of a struggle as Google Maps doesn't show the correct location (as of end June). However, it is worth the effort as this is a challenging and fun adventure. The instructors were excellent and the courses were more physically challenging than other forest parks we have done, culminating in a jump off a 13m high platform into a cargo net. The red course is for children of 14 and over and the black course for 18 and above. There are three courses for younger kids, so it really does cater for the whole family. There is also a 9m high climbing tower and a good playground. There is a good cafe at the park with very friendly staff and hot coffee for those waiting for their friends to complete the adventure.

The equipment was modern and French made and the instructors really knew their stuff. Mitar spoke excellent English and had the perfect balance of confidence and support. His brother Ivan also helped. We had a great time and were exhausted by the end of it. Technique plays as much part as strength but for the red and black courses you need a head for heights and must pass the blue course first
