Amazing place to visit and recommended must see attraction if you are only in montenegro for a short while. Only down side is no food or drink outlets - they really need a little food and ice cream kiosk to cater for those snack attacks.

Quite possibly the most popular visiting point in Perast, the 5€ pp return trip not only gives you the chance to visit the island and the church but also delivers you the best view and photos of beautiful old town Perast. The church is beautiful and we found it worth the extra 1€ pp to view the museum relics.

Lots of boats ready to take you over to the islands from Perast (trip costs 5 Euro pp). The island is rather small (the sister island containing the monastery of St George is not accessible to tourists) but very picturesque. The church and its little museum are historically very interesting and you will hear the story of a local lady... More

We took a small boat to the island. The small church is so pretty from the inside and cute. The entrance was 2 euros to the church. The island is beautiful to get pictures. Facing it is a beautiful monestry that you see only from the outside. On our way back, the boat took us aroud the monestry and it... More

Perast was a beautiful place to spend a day. We took a boat (5€ pp) to our lady of the rocks. I must admit that while traveling through the Balkans we had seen way prettier Churches and it wasn't particularly worth going to the island. The views are awesome though!

It was fascinating and attractive, but was way too over visited. It also possessed a very limited amount of attractions, and does not warrant any more than a 45 minute visit.

Beautiful views of the bay. Plenty of little boats to take you to the island at €5 per person. Well worth a visit, especially before the crowds arrive (10.00am or after 4pm) Stunning photo opportunities, especially on a sunny day.

We visited Perast in Montenegro and were the views were stunning. The road around the lake has a view at every corner. We took the boat trip to the Church on the island and it was amazing. So lovely and in use every Sunday. Would encourage visitors to Montenagro to stop off at this beauty spot. Several welcoming coffee shops.... More
