We took a tour with Montenegro Submarine which took us to the Blue Grotto, as part of a four hour tour of the Gulf of Kotor. Totally worth it. We had the cave to ourselves. Our tour guide said it can get very busy. We were lucky. About a thirty minute boat ride from the cruise port. Although the tour... More

We bought a tour ticket at Herceg Novi to Zanjice-Blue cave-Mamula island. Before arriving to the island the guy who's driving the boat said only in english (!) "You can leave your stuff in the boat". Now that's the point where you DON'T leave anything valueable in the boat.....We had 30 minutes to visit the island, while they stayed on... More

We took a speed boat from Kotor to the Blue Grotto. Very relaxing and then arriving at this beautiful natural phenomenon. The colours of the water were amazing blues and purples, and you could swim in the grotto. The only reason cant give it five is that it gets very crowded with boats entering the cave, one collision while we... More

Boyan is the best guide to have for a memorable trip to the blue caves with kayaks! Don't go with boats, as one misses out on the spectacular smaller caves. We started out with Jeffrey picking us up and driving us to Lustica bay. While waiting for Boyan, our teenage boys tried out some stand-up paddling and jumping off the... More

We went here on an organised speed boat trip and was not disappointed . The inside of the caves are literally that a cave with glistening Bombay Sapphire coloured water. You cant get off the boat unless you want to swim. It was worth seeing it and was a hidden treasure that we discovered. So pretty !

If you are travelling by boat, stop by this grotto, go for a swim inside. If the boat is not big, you could even sail inside, it is a fun experience.

We visited here as part of a boat trip organised by our hotel. A very interesting place to visit, we went in late May so it was still quiet and very peaceful, with only one other boat in the cave at the same time. As we left we also saw Dolphins... amazing!!
