Finished in 1804, Orthodox Christians built this lovely church. The alternating stripes of colors in the stonework really do set this apart from any other church. The style is simple and the mosaics over the doors are evocative of every Byzantine rendering imaginable.

Just across the courtyard is a 1,000 year old church which in semi-ruins but still enough of it exists to host an art gallery. So worth a visit.

This small church was built in the Byzantine architectural style. Above the main entrance there is a rose window and its three-bell tower is unmistakable.
The beautiful and rich iconostasis of this church is the work of Greek icon painters from the 19th century.
In front of the church is the tombstone of Stefan Mitrov Ljubiš, a well-known writer and politician who was born in Budva.
Free entry.

Wow. We stumbled onto their mass around 8PM. The priest was singing and all the women were covered in scarves and it was a bit of chilling experience. It was so authentic. Inside of church is covered with paintings using gold everywhere. Very unique orthodox church.

Truly beautiful church with a beautiful architectural design. The place is real quiet, tucked in this quaint little town. Well worth visiting.

This church is a very pretty one in Budva old town. It is next to the St Ivan church but has more to see in comparison. Worth stopping to take a look.

The Church of the Holy Trinity in the centre of the Old Town area of Budva is really quite small but very special. The interior is completely covered in wonderfully coloured frescos & icons. It's a very peaceful place & is really well worth exploring.

Located across from the St. Ivan Catholic Church, this church is easy to locate. The mass was going on during my first visit and could not see a thing due to the crowd in front of me.

Later, I visited it again. I said my prayers and admired the icons on the walls and ceiling.

A group of women, some of whom were wearing shorts attempted to enter this church while I was there. The attendant did not let them in. After I got out of this church, this attendant closed the doors. Feeling blessed that I was able to see its insides and say a prayer here!
