Great zoo, much better than the one in Bucharest! Although a bit smaller, it is very well built and organised, the cages are transparent (even the animal's sleeping grounds allow great visbility), so that if you go later in the afternoon you can still see...More

The area is not very big. Many spaces were under construction. A playground for kids is available. Reptilarium and aquarium are very nice. Outside many things could be better. First of all they can bring more animals. The entrance fee is very low 2 RON...More

The Rm Valcea Zoo is a decent one, with a lot of animals (too few monkeys in my kids opinion). Interesting for me was the number of bears (4); I've never seen 4 bears at the same zoo.

If you are in Rm Valcea, I would recommend you to visit this place. Was surprised to see such a nice zoo in small city. Zoo is clean, entrance fee was about 0.75$ per adult. Highly recommend.

We came here on a scorching hot day with three kids 11, 7 and 3. The 3 year old loved it and the others just wanted to leave. It is more like a farmyard. There were pigs, horses, goats, a llama, chickens, fox, etc. There...More

The entrance price is very cheap. Nice and well organized zoo. A little bit too small, not even close to the zoo of Bucharest, but a good place to visit. There are a lot of trees, that makes the visit suportable in the hot summer...More

It was good. My little girl had fun especially watching the bear they had out of the enclosure walking around. She was quite excited about that.
