In the very centre of the city, the most important Orthodox church, unfortunately without perspective because of the old condominium in front of it. Beautiful decorations inside which cannot be admired as there are renovation works.

I thing this is the biggest cathedral in Ploiesti. It's an imposing church. The paintings are very well executed. The church service had a special solemnity.

This was built to remember the heroes of the Great World War, and is dedicated to Saint John The Baptist. Actually the Cathedral is extended (the works aren't finished). The interior is very impressive.

Nice church. Worth a 30 min visit, while in Ploiesti to see the largest church in town. There is no entrance fee.

I loved everything about it: imposing looks, beautiful architecture, gorgeous colors and a gorgeously painted interior. Do not miss this attraction if you ever find yourselves in Ploiesti.
