We booked a car with driver, for a trip to Kiev. A long trip, road not always the best, tough winter.
We had a lot of worries and concerns, especially considering it was a new country for us.
But from the very first contact, we were received with professionalism and care, helped in every single bureaucratic step, even the ones that would normally not be the agency's problem. We were guided through lab test for the custom, helped with insurance and all the information we needed to travel safely.
When it came to the driver, we couldn't hope for better: a true gentleman, excellent driver, impeccable professional, who represented us with the custom authorities, provided information, supported us in our moments of tiredness, always ready to help. It is very rare to have professionalism and compassion combined together, yet this man, Mr. Paul Rotaru, is a perfect example.
We felt safe and cared for.
Professionalism at the highest level.
Thank you.

My wife and I were introduced to the services of Travis Travel, when visiting Romania and Moldova late in 2018. The company, for whom I was appearing at a number of conferences, routinely engaged them for transport and guided tourism.
We undertook a number of journeys with them, some for tourist experiences and some for purposes of transit.
On all occasions, we were made very comfortable, driven by courteous and considerate drivers and, when guided, were presented with a very helpful level of local information, both historic and practical. Apart from this, our most frequent driver “Sebastian” also knew the best places to stay and to eat. He provided great insight into the local dishes and helped to make our tourism as close to authentic themes as possible.
Later this year, we are travelling to Romania again and will be engaging Travis whenever possible.
They are a very professional and personable outfit.

I have met a part of Travis team in Sighisoara, when I was working at a 5 star hotel. It was a great pleasure doing business with Travis team members. Young, creative and professionals.

I was with my friends in Iasi at the end of the December 2016. I must say,Iasi it's a beautiful and clean city, especially the city Center. The guide from Travis Tourism was exceptional , with a very good practice and with a high IQ level. He showed us the most important attractions and helped us to choose a good restaurant for eating traditional romanian food. I liked very much " ciorba" and "gogosii".
Thank you very much to Travis Tourism for good transfer service and a very professional guide. I recommned to everybody to visit the old capital of Moldova :)

their workers along with the manager destroyed my things, on the grounds that I have returned the hired car too late.

In this same building was a pharmacy where we had to buy some medicine for an illness. Some people were sick to start with and they passed their bugs to others. Luckily while the packaging was in Hungarian some folks could speak a little English.

I have worked with colleagues in Moldova for many years but only finally visited in January 2019 with snow everywhere and then in May when late Spring revealed how remarkable Moldova really is to visit. There is a tourist infrastructure that caters for the wine tours to the vineyards like Pucari or Chateau Vartely, alongside sumptuous and very efficiently run hotels in Chisinau such as the Radisson Blu and the Courtyard at the Marriet. But the real charm of Moldova are the people, the countryside and more or less having the place to yourself. This is not to over romanticise a country that is economically at the lower end of the GDP spectrum and a society struggling with it’s post Soviet legacy as it has been fought over for centuries, being at the crossroads of Europe. But if you can leave the patronisation at home, be prepared to get by without shouting loudly in English at everyone, then what is revealed is a revelation. Their are four distinct seasons and all have their charm. Chisinau is not like any other European capital city but it is compact, it has wonderful restaurants and bars, Moldovans rightly proud of their wonderful produce and food, and it has an intellectual and cultural aspect that still appeals to all classes. The wine is astonishing and late autumn festivals are worth the visit alone. I have seen operas, plays and concert performances that would rival those of the West End and Broadway. For a fraction of the cost and with audiences who are genuine spectators. Outside of the city, Old Orhei takes your breath away with its natural beauty and historic monastery. Soreco on the Nistru river in the north is real hidden jewel. Air Moldova flies direct from Stansted and it is a joy to find an airline that still believes the
passenger is worth respecting. See Moldova like it is now because it won’t always be this way. Come and see a country steeped in a complex and fascinating history but a young nation finding their place in the World. In a World of cliched and hackneyed tourist experiences come and do something much more meaningful and genuine. You will never be asking ‘Where is Moldova?’ again - but just don’t tell everyone.

A very professional company with the staff which will help you chose the care you desire at afordable prices. We've arrived at their location and within 15 min we were already on our way.

This is a company i deffinitely recommend when it comes to rent cars.

It was an amazing two days trip (we asked to extend the original one day trip, and they were flexible enough to change the schedule). You could visit up to nine or even ten monasteries in two days, with a bonus visit at the black ceramic pottery and the museum of painted eggs. Our guide, Radu Vraciu, is experienced, he knows everything about the details of the paintings inside and outside of the monasteries, the stories and the legends, he could be also a culinary guide, not mentioning he is very polite. While he was also our driver, I have to add that he made us all feel safe (he knows the roads and he's never in hurry). A trip to remember, to be recommended to friends.
