I visited a friend's home town, Braila, and saw the clock in the park. It is unique and has a very interesting story. It seems that back in the 90's before there was much policing of online sites like eBay, someone posted this lovely landmark...More

The clock is situated in a wonderful garden in the center of the city. Next to it is the city museum which provides parts of the local cultural history of the city.

This is an important symbol to show Brăila's transformation into a modern city. It survived important events or intentions to change it during communist rule.
