We searched the internet about the museum, it is posted from m-F 9:00 am - 7:00 pm, we took a taxi, and it was closed. There was a sign at the door stating M-F from 9:00 am - 12:00 noon.
They do not answer the phone at all.

I enjoyed it here.

I visited this museum and I was glad I did so. It has a lot of good displays and artifacts relating to the area. There is an aquaduct, some graves and a mini display of the nasca lines out the back of the museum in a nice garden. It doesn't take very long to see everything , it took me about an hour to see everything. The aquaduct is interesting too.

Large number of artifacts for the size

We walked from the town center to the museum, it is not in a bad neighborhood but next to a metallurgy and mining trade school. The one drawback was they were doing fresh painting in several rooms, it looked great, but the smells of the paint were noxious to my senses. Holding a rag over my nose and mouth we went through the rooms and thoroughly enjoyed the displays. All texts are in Spanish but you can tell what time frame is noted by the signs. Outside there is an aqueduct segment, several tomb types and a bit of quiet garden area next to a giant layout of the Nazca lines.

This museum houses a nice collection of Nasca ceramics, and textiles. With trophy heads and many other highlights. Outside, there are some copies of an aqueduct and of several tombs.

Best museum in Nasca
Nov 2018 • Family
Had a very didactic two hour visit of this beautiful and well maintained museum.
Highly recommended if going to Nasca and plan on spending 2 hours on average.
My kids were fascinated at the museum.
It even has a large acueduct segment in the garden along with exact replicas of Nasca burial sites and replica of Cahuachi wall.
It also has a large exterior mock up of the Nasca lines area.

reasonably well presented

In town so not an effort to visit. A good display but a number of the display descriptions are misplaced ie not relating to the display they are meant to be addressing. Worth a visit as you can work out what is being referenced on the descriptions.

There's more to Nazca than the Lines
Jun 2018 • Friends
The Museum is small, but informative. Artefacts from the Nazca civilisation are impressive - tools, textiles ceramics and more. The outdoor is interesting too, with the aqueduct and burial chambers and Nasca lines model. Worth spending an hour or so in this museum.

Fabulous museum! I'm glad I went
Apr 2018 • Solo
This museum is filled with many interesting artefacts from Cauhachi pyramid and Chauchilla cemetery.
They are lit well inside the display cabinets and you can take really good photos.
Outside, the aqueduct and the tombs beside it are originals. They vary from 1700 to 2500 years old.

I almost didn't go to the museum, but I'm really glad I did. It's about a 15 minute walk from the main Plaza.
Plus...it's cool inside (temperature)
15 soles entry fee
Good banos.
Gift counter selling clay whistles.

Thanks goodness for the amazing pioneer Maria Reiche. Without her this may all have been destroyed.
