We booked a flight over the Nazca lines with Great Nazca Tours and were picked up from the bus terminal and driven to our hostel by an excellent guide called Oscar, even though our flight reservation was for the following day. He picked us up the following morning and drove us to the small airport from which the planes depart. He handled everything and guided us through the process in the airport. He gave a detailed explanation of the significance of the lines as well as the history of the area before the flight, which helped tremendously. After the flight he drove us back to the hostel. Overall Oscar is a very punctual, passionate, talkative, and knowledgeable guide, whom we can only highly recommend.

We booked the Nazca lines flight through this company and our experience was great. Oscar was quick to respond to WhatsApp queries and booked the flight for us with only a few days notice. He arrived to collect us from our hostel on time and on the journey to the airport gave us some good information about the lines and their history. He was clearly very enthusiastic about the lines! We arrived at the airport and within a short time, we were in the plane about to take off. It was a small plane of just 4 seats, 2 for the pilots and 2 for us. We liked that it was a private flight. The flight itself was great, the pilots made sure we were able to see the figures properly before moving on. We had heard from friends that other companies were far less organised and they had many delays at the airport - we didn’t have that problem at all, it was smooth flying for us! Overall, great experience and would definitely recommend!

Great Nazca Tours, a very professionell Travel Agency, has made it possible, to arrange a day trip from Lima via Pisco airport to see the fascinating Nazca Lines.
I was picked up early in the morning from my airport hotel. Heading south to Pisco, following about 200 kilometers the Panamericana del Sur, I have learned a lot from my tour guide about the country. The time passed in a flash, although the traffic in Lima was very heavy and it took some time to leave the city behind us. We arrived in time at Pisco Airport. From there I enjoyed the flight to the Nazca lines, overflying the desert, It took 40 minutes to reach this point. Without landing we overflow the Nazca Lines for about 30 minutes, which was fascinating.
After the flight my driver/tour guide brought me back safely to Lima, arriving at my hotel at 8 p.m. due to heavy traffic in Lima. I am very grateful to the travel agency Great Nazca Tours that has done everything to make this day trip possible!!!

This July, we have booked one-day tour from Lima.
That's wonderful experience!
Early morning driver Anibal picked us from hotel with private car. We got to Nasca city in 6 hours approx. Weather was perfect - sunny, no clouds or fog.
We made first stop near Nasca tower. It was first opportunity to see Nasca lines. That very close and look adorable!
Then went to Nasca airport. At the airport just in 5 mins we departed in flight with small plane Cessna 172 for 2 passengers only. It was amazing 40 mins flight over Nasca Valley. We have seen all figures! Pilot overflew each figure 2 times from each side of plane for each passanger.
Once we back in airport Oscar met us and talk about flight, figures and history.
Then we headed bus station. Along the way we got small tour throughout the city center.
Next 7 hours we spent in bus in way to Lima. That bus has been brand new, with comfortable seats, air conditioned and besides include small lunch box. From bus station in Lima for us also organised transfer to hotel.
We would like to thank GreatNascaTour. Everything organised just fine! We appreciate that, particularly as we wish suggest to engage their services! You don't need think about anything, they'll take care of it.

My wife and I recently spent two weeks in Peru, and our tour with Oscar at Cahuachi stands out as one of the best experiences we had.
The site itself is a journey to get to, so we were grateful for the safe journey. Beyond that, his passion for the history of the site and the area itself was contagious.
Highly recommend both this site and Great Nasca Tours, if you are in the area.

We had an incredible full day tour to visit the Nazca Lines on a private tour. Our guide Oscar and our driver Anibal came for us at our hotel for an early start and we headed directly to Nazca. The flight was really good, we got to see all the shapes, it was a lovely clear day. We had zero delay for the flight, we boarded as soon as we got to the airport. The plane had only four seats, two for the pilots and two for us. The pilots were really nice and friendly, making sure we got to see all the shapes. They even took us pictures and made jokes so we didn’t feel nervous. The plane tilts to the sides so you can see all the shapes in detail. I tend to get motion sickness in ships and small planes, so I was really anxious about this. I took Dramamine pills and was perfectly fine, I read several reviews about people throwing up and this had worried me, but it’s easily solved taking the pills about 30 minutes before the flight.
On our way back to Lima we stopped at the Huacachina Oasis to take some pictures, it is a really nice place to see the sunset. We finally arrived at our hotel around 8 pm. The Nazca Lines are a must see if you are in Perú.

We had a wonderful flight over the Nazca Lines.
The tour operator made sure we had the best time!
Oscar is a really friendly and nice guy, who speaks English very well and has a high knowledge level about the Nazca lines.
Everything was very well organised and he did his best to give us the best spots and times for the flight!
We would 100% recommend this operator!

Wow - I don't know where to start. This company was absolutely fantastic.
We only found them the day before we were heading to Nazca. We knew what we wanted to do but not how to do it or what order was best. We basically sent a random load of information to these guys the night before heading to Nazca and prayed they would respond. And respond they did, almost immediately!
They put together a perfect itinerary for us (even though we changed it a couple of times when we were there - they didn't mind, they specialize in catering for individual needs).
Nothing is too much for them. From picking us up from our hotel in Lima and sorting out bus tickets for us (first class! For no extra cost either!) to Nazca, to picking us up late at night and transferring us to a hotel. To providing us with an amazing English speaking tour guide - Thank you Orlando, you were absolutely amazing - we were always looked after and given individual attention. Karina was fantastic too! Always checking we were happy and catering to our every need.
The main highlight for us, that really showed us the professionalism that makes this tour company number 1 was on our first morning. We were scheduled to be picked up to go on the Nazca lines flight. We had heard that the wait can be around 4-5hours and so we were busy eating our breakfast to prepare for the day ahead when Karina called to say they were coming to pick us up a bit early as they had been to the airport to check out the situation with the flights and if we went now there would be no queue......how nice is that?! They went and checked for us, early in the morning. They were right too, we arrived at 9.25 and by 9.30am we were on a flight. No one else was around. Just 4 of us. No big planes involved with this company, they ensure the flight is smooth and caters to you. As we were the only 4 people at the airport and we were all feeling fine ( and thrilled!) by seeing the Nazca lines, the pilots stayed up a bit longer and showed us a few extras - v.nice! :)
As we then had spare time we asked if Orlando could take us to the view-point to see the Nazca lines from ground level. This was impromptu but proved incredible. It was fantastic to be able to compare the two different experiences. I would definitely recommend this. And again, another testament to Karina and the crew for being able to adjust an itinerary at the last minute.
We also did the sand dunes, sand-boarding and visited the pyramids, aqueducts and Inca ruins all with this company. Every experience was fantastic.
Don't doubt it, just do it!! You will not regret it :)

My husband and I planned to stay a few days in Paracas on the second leg of our Peru trip. We had booked a hotel but became nervous as we researched our options for getting to the area from Lima. Many people had not recommended renting a car (which we agree with!) and the bus options seemed unreliable. A lot of the Paracas attractions are spread out over the area and without a car and not knowing the language, it's difficult to get around easily.
Our family-friends used Great Nazca Tours for a 3 day tour and highly recommended them so we decided to contact them for a customized tour. GNT picked us up from the Lima airport and drove us to our Paracas hotel on a Monday. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday they arranged for a Nazca Lines flight, an ATV tour around the Paracas National Reserve, Islas Ballestas boat tour and a dune buggy ride in Huacachina. On Friday they drove us back to Lima to our hotel (almost a 4 hour drive with traffic). They established a reasonable price per person which included all transportation and our activities. The transportation and all the activities with the exception of the Islas ballestas and Nazca lines flight were private.
Our tour guide Oscar was professional, personable and knowledgeable about the area and its history. We kept saying to each other, "thank God we used this group!" After seeing the area and knowing now how little English some of the business owners speak in the area we are thankful for choosing a tour company to help us navigate the area.
I highly recommend Oscar and great Nazca tours if you are traveling to the Paracas area and want to do some of the same activities we did.

Atentamente puedo brindarle la siguiente información útil;
Primero.- Durante la fecha que usted esta planeando estaremos durante nuestro invierno que no ayuda a agilizar los vuelos muy por lo contrario retraza toda operación aeronáutica debido a la pobre visibilidad con la cual amanece por estas fechas.
Segundo.- También estaremos en el plena temporada alta de turistas la cual también la demanda hace que se sature los sobrevuelos que diariamente se provee.
Finalmente le recomendamos lo siguiente: Necesariamente debe pernoctar en la ciudad de Nasca para que pueda brindarnos vuestra disponibilidad plena de al menos toda la mañana, si bien es cierto el sobrevuelo tiene una duración de media hora pero adicionando la espera por mal clima puede prolongarse hasta casi el medio dia.
También le recomendamos realizar reservaciones con anticipación con nuestra agencia y/o cualquier agencia de viaje para evitar malos inconveniente al realizar reservaciones de ultimo minuto. Tener en cuenta la demanda que se tiene por estas fechas.

Everything is done via email. If you write them, either Oscar or Carolina will get back to you. Let them know what you would like to do/see and if you would like to stay in Ica or Nazca and if you would like to stop at Paracas. They will put something together for you. I tried to book everything separately but it's a much cheaper to go through them. Good Luck.

We did the "Nazca Lines & Ballestas Islands from Lima by Tourist Bus." tour and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a 2 day/1 night package.

Booking on Great Nazca Line tour - I was wondering if you booked on line or did you wait till you were in Peru. I'm going in Oct/15 and when I went to book on line I was a bit confused about the process, it did not auto populate the the cost and asked me to fill in the details? I answered your query the other day but I don't think it went through. If it did, you will get my reply twice.
The flights of the Nazca Lines from Nazca only last 35-40minutes and they do not go to the Palpa Lines. You may be able to do the Palpa Lines from either Ica or Lima, I am not sure.
However, the flight from Nazca is amazing. It was a lovely clear day and we flew out at about 9.00am. We saw all the figures and we saw them all clearly. The pilot dipped his wing in the direction of a figure when we came to them.
We did our trip with Great Nazca Tours and they were marvellous. We caught a bus from Lima and they met us in Nazca, and from then on they looked after us very well. the hotel they chose for us was also wonderful, so all in all, I found this trip one of the highlights of Peru.
