Interesting to walk around, and wonder "why". The guides indicate it may have been for agriculture experimentation at different altitudes.....weird because it's not that significant changes in altitude. Yet Macchu Pichu is 8k feet, and Cusco is 11k feet, now that's significant changes.

They don't take any credit cards nor foreign currency. It's 70 sol/person. Kinda expensive compared to the living cost but it's worth it. Highly recommend to find a guide and listen to the explanation. It's breathtaking.
