About
Dr. Javier Cabrera Darquea, surgeon, founder professor of the University of Ica and international patent holder of a copper metallurgy was the Peruvian scientist who studied and decoded the message of the 11,000 engraved stones of Ica that has the Scientific Museum Javier Cabrera. The stones were engraved by Gliptolitics men who came from a planet in the constellation of the Pleiades, were beings from another dimension, a more advanced civilization that ours. In the stones of the Museum you can see the first maps of the earth, scenes of men with extinct animals such as dinosaurs and highly advanced surgical operations, among other great revelations. They are the oldest archaeological remains of the earth, with more than 65 million years at least. Is this proof of some unknown very ancient civilization?

Although American mainstream academia dismisses this collection outright, European academia does not. I dont think these have anything to do with the bible and Im not a Christian, but simply in and of themselves the Ica Stones are part of a growing body of evidence pointing to an alternate view of history. Sometimes the only good answer is "I dont know"

I ended up visiting this museum by accident, but I do recommend it!

Whether you agree with Dr. Cabrera point of view or not, it is amazing to see and be able to admire his lifetime work and studies.

The stones are incredibly detailed and, in my opinion, it's worthy a visit! You will be able to have a cultural experience in addition to the standard adventure tours!

Too much fantasy, no proven science

Lots of fabulation about space visitors to the region 1 million years ago. The talk of the lady who explains the whole theory behind their claims of mistical visitors from outer space is quite entertaining for the first 20 minutes if you are in to fringe theories of flying saucers and the like. I would not pay 10 Euros a second time to see the exhibit. This kind of "archeology" has no serious scientific base. In my opinion definately not "a must" while in Ica.

A must see in Ica!
Oct 2017 • Friends
My friend and I visited the Scientific Museum of Dr. Javier Cabrera during our short stay in Ica TWICE! :) we were so fascinated by the black stones and life and work of Dr. Javier Cabrera that not only we came back, but also bought the book by Dr. Cabrera about the black stones. This is a private collection and is located in a building in the central plaza in Ica (Plaza de Armas). If you are in the central square, it is hard to miss it. Definitely a great place to visit and once in a lifetime experience! Dr. Javier Cabrera`s son, Ernesto Cabrera was kind to show us around and tell us more about the black stones and the messages carved on them, as well as the place where they were found. It was fascinating to learn more about the mysterious stones, see them (you are not allowed to touch them) as I read so much about them. We were allowed to take pictures only with the permission of Mr. Ernesto Cabrera and in his presence. We want to thank Mr. Ernesto Cabrera and his assistant, Fatima Cabrera for their work in preserving the stones and sharing the information about the stones of Ica with people all over the world! With gratitude, Natalia and Stefania

We came to Ica only to see this Museum. We wrote a letter, but nobody answered us. Than we called and go. This place with some awesome energy and interesting information. Mr. Javier told a lection to us, showed stones and accepted to take photos, but not to touch. A lot of his life stories show what kind of men is he. He is a good man! Some recommendation: before you come to Mr. Cabrera read information about he and his family. It is very useful and interesting!)

Everybody is free to visit this place, the stones are beautiful but to be honest the collection is not real, it isn't ancient as the carved pictures were made in our time.

Buenas noches, quisiéramos saber que pruebas científicas ha realizado usted a las PIEDRAS GRABADAS de nuestro Museo como para pronunciarse sobre su antigüedad. Honestamente nos parece muy extraña su opinión.

Looking for the Ica Stones
Sep 2016 • Family
I was a bit eskeptical from the beggining but after see many documents writen in stones began to have an interesting road map of the life and meaning of the creation in simple draws and desings made it by people with superior technology, unfortunatly the museum is not supported for any of ours nationals researchs as not taking part for an listening theory but Mr Cabrera leave his legacy in Ica downtown and who is intersted to see and have another pointof view from Darwin you should go there and make your own opinion so I reccomended 200%

Whether the interpretations of the stones is correct or not, I leave to you. For me, just seeing these artifacts that make no sense in any conventional historic way, was both inspiring and refreshing. See for yourself.

Very disappointed

As someone who makes it a point to get off the beaten path and discover bizarre places, I was really looking forward to this museum. The stories, the mysteries, whatever. Ica itself is easy enough to reach. We knew (and waited) for the place to open, even as the staff takes a three-hour break in the middle of the day.

Strike 1 was the price. Asking for $10 USD is above and beyond most any other place requests for entrance in Peru.

Strike 2 was how we were rebuffed at the entrance. My wife contacted them via e-mail before our visit, but were asked for our reservation. Like this is the sort of place that gets so many visitors it has to require a reservation. We didn't have whatever she was asking for, and refused to let us in. Instead, she got on the phone with someone, who spoke with my wife. Nothing could be done, apparently, without this person.

Strike 3 is the no photos rule (look for at least the big red sign in the first room). I don't just *like* taking pictures, I *love* taking pictures. If concerned about preserving the exhibits, plenty of museums across the world have adopted a 'no flash, no tripods' policy for the genuine artifacts they carry. Non-flash photos can't damage the exhibits, and even flash does less damage than the naked fluorescent bulbs hanging from the ceiling.
