About Andinotrek
AndinoTrek is an adventure travel agency for trekking and climbing tours in South America. We organize active vacations all around South America and we are specialized in expeditions in the Cordillera Blanca and Huayhuash. Our main office is based in Huaraz, the mountain capital of Peru. All our tours are for adventurous people who like to be out in the mountains. We are looking for the simple life without luxury. We enjoy the closeness to nature and face the sporting challenges. But we also take our time to enjoy, time to switch off, time to discover something new. We pitch our tents in the open air and see the starry sky like never before. The nights are long and cold, the sunrises even more beautiful. Get out of the comfort zone - into the adventure!

We went with this agency to rock climbing, it was fine but the guid brings a camera and takes a picture of you. For a month he said he would send the pictures and then he disappeared, so do not trust his word on this subject

We booked an 4x4 tour for 2 days in Huaraz. We had good contact with the office and the guides in our tour were very nice. One of them spoke really good English.

Adinotreks put together well organized, safe, fun, educational and reasonable priced course. I would highly recommend, and I can't wait to come back! I went on a beginning mountaineering and ice climbing course with a friend to Yanapacha Mountain who found Andinoteks via Facebook. This was my third mountaineering experience (all in Huaraz) and one of the best. The trip was put together in record time, well organized, and good gear was supplied. Our guide, Christian, was very experienced, knowledgable and professional, and made me feel safe as a newbie to mountaineering and as a young female. The food was simple, as to be expected at 4000m, yummy, healthy and took into consideration our dietary needs. At the end of our trip the man who was suppose to pick us up was late, and we took another passing by minivan and met up with our driver further down the road. Franck, the owner, took full responsibility, which I greatly appreciated. This trip solidified my love for mountaineering and Huaraz. The views were spectacular: snow cover mountains, aquamarine lakes and glaciers that formed sculptures of blue ice. Mountaineering represented a new hard challenge, but Christian was very supportive and instructive, which made it doable. I would recommend giving yourself enough time to acclimatize (~ 7days) in Huaraz town and going on training hikes, being decently fit, having good gear especially well fitting shoes, and an open mind ready for challenge and the unexpected. I would high recommend visiting Huaraz and booking a trip through Andinotrek, a local and family run business. Watch out you may become addicted!

We booked a 4x4 trip. Emailing about the details was easy and the replied fast. Two days before arival we also booked a horseriding tour. The horseriding was on well maintained horses and with a experienced guide. They only spoke spanish, but we could understand them. If you do not speak spanish, that should not be a problem, just enjoy the view. The 4x4 tour was comfortabel. the mountains are amazing. Lunch and dinner was taken care of. The hotel is Chacas was on the centre square. The guide was quiet, but if you ask something, she would explain more.
