Had an AMAZING experience on this camel trip to the Sahara desert. We took the 2 day 1 night trip but wished we stayed a little longer to enjoy the amazing sunsets and sunrise over the Sahara dunes. We spent the whole evening after we got to camp sand boarding down the dunes and hiking back up then in the night they had the most delicious tagine we tried on our whole trip to Morocco. We had a vegetarian in our group so they made a vegetarian tagline which was just as delicious. After dinner we sad around the bonfire, drank some tea and played guitar and sang songs while watching the starry night. Over all it was the most memorable experience and we 100% recommend it. It was very affordable and worth every penny. Thanks again!

We have recently returned from a 2 night/3 day trip to Erg Lihoudi and Erg Chigaga, booked through Sahara Relax - it was a fantastic trip, which we started from Ouarzazate to cut some travel time into the desert. It was extremely hot as expected and i would recommend that if you're thinking about a trip, wait until the winter! Hamid was our driver and was extremely professional, helpful and we felt very safe on some of the desert roads with his expert driving. Thank you Hamid. Both camps were good, although the camp in Erg Lihoudi was slightly better from a service perspective, as the staff were exceptional. We booked luxury camps, which meant that we had our own bathrooms - the tents are not the same luxury as a hotel, as you would expect, so please be aware of your expectations. The food served in both camps was fantastic - take your own alcohol, as only water is available in the camps. Excellent trip overall and we would recommend.

A breathtaking tour through the south of Morocco.
We suggested an itinerary that was planned and implemented according to our wishes. Communication with Mohamed was outstanding.
There were two of us and we booked a 5 day/4 night tour in the south of Morocco with a private driver/guide. (rough itinerary: Marrakech-Tischka Pass-Ait Ben Haddou-Draa Tal-Zagora-Erg Lihoudi-Erg Chegaga-Lake Iriki-Taroudannt-Tizi 'n Test Pass-Marrakech)
Our guide was Zayed, who comes from the region. He was very helpful, caring and stopped at every good spot for photos and explained a lot to us about the country and culture.
It felt like traveling with a friend.
Numerous stops made the trip more lively: visiting a Berber wedding, tea with nomads and family, pottery, carpet making, saffron, watermelon farm, ostriches, camels.
We were always given a friendly welcome.
The accommodation and food on the trip was always clean and well maintained.
I have traveled to many countries and done tours, but this was an absolute highlight and I can only recommend it.
We will especially remember the Erg Chegaga desert.

Sahara Relax exceeded all expectations! Organizing a trip for 68 people is no small feat, but they pulled it off seamlessly. From start to finish, everything was perfectly planned and executed.
Riding camels across the stunning dunes was a magical experience, and the thrill of racing ATVs and sandboarding down the golden sands was unmatched! After an action-packed day, we were treated to a night under the stars in beautifully set-up tents that were both comfortable and authentic.
The team at Sahara Relax was professional, friendly, and incredibly accommodating, making sure every single one of us had an amazing time. Our 4-day desert tour was absolutely amazing. We were traveling with 4 adults and a small child and our every wish was taken care of. We stayed in 2 tent camps and a wonderful riad. Totally recommendable for the price. Small children even go free of charge.

We went on a private tour with 10 people to Zagora and then Erg Lihoudi. We had an amazing time and we can't recommend it enough. The staff at both camps were very friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. We had such a fun time sandboarding, quad riding, and camel riding as well! The price was very affordable for what you get. Our driver Lahcen was also so sweet and accommodating. If you have the opportunity to go on this tour, go!

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of knowing Morocco and it has been an unforgettable experience. Since arriving at Marrakech airport, Mustapha was very attentive and did his best to ensure our comfort, as well as offering us excellent recommendations to enjoy this fantastic country. Thanks to him we were able to know the desert of Zagora, White House, Rabat, Fes and Marrakech. Undoubtedly, I cannot fail to recommend driver Mustapha to enjoy this welcoming country. We were delighted!

The tour was an unforgettable experience and exactly as we had imagined. Since there are not many tourists who walk from M'Hamid to Erg Chigaga, we had the silence and beauty of the desert almost to ourselves. It was ideal for leaving the hectic and noisy everyday life behind for a few days. Our guide Said took care of everything, including the food. We were particularly impressed by how he surprised us every day with very delicious dishes. We can highly recommend the tour, but you should not underestimate the distance (especially in the warmer months when temperatures can reach up to 40 degrees during the day) and be sure to pack suitable shoes (hiking sandals are ideal for the dunes).

From the moment we booked the 2 day trip to the Sahara.....the arrangements were seamless. Such a well organised and friendly company.
We were picked up by the wonderful Hassan and enjoyed a minibus tour through the Atlas mountains and onwards to the Sahara Desert. It was a v long drive but Hassan had organised plenty of stops for coffee/food/pictures etc. He was a fantastic driver and we felt very safe with him. It was a magical trip to the luxury desert camp which I would thoroughly recommend. We rode camels to the camp as the sun set, were welcomed by our attentive camp hosts who entertained us with delicious food, a camp fire and music and singing. The tents were beautiful! We star-gazed, sand-boarded, watched the sunrise, enjoyed a delicious breakfast, before being met by Hassan and whisked off back to Marrakesh via a number of stops including the Atlas Film Studios (where parts of Gladiator, Game of Thrones etc were filmed).
Be prepared for a long journey but what a brilliant way to see Morocco and experience the desert! We were a group of 7, including 3 children.

We did a 5 day private tour from Marrakech through the Atlas Mountains and the desert. The whole tour was very well organised. Our driver Hassan drove us very safely, always responded to our personal wishes and gave us interesting insights into the country and its people. The accommodation was excellently chosen. Our request for a gluten-free diet was taken into account - Hassan was very well prepared and the riads were informed in advance about our dietary requirements. Everything worked out great. We had a great time and can highly recommend Sahara Relax and our driver Hassen.
