We took a five day tour from Marrakech crossing the Atlas Mountains, Dades Gorge and Draa Valley on our way into the desert. After a two-night stay in Ali's camp in the desert, we drove to Taghazout (near Agadir) via Taroudant (ending the tour in Taghazout was by our request, since we had booked a hotel there). Helena, who helped us pick/tailor a suitable route for the trip, was very friendly and forthcoming and always available in case of requests/questions - via phone and email. We traveled in a group of three - my mother and I and a solo-traveler that joined us, this way the trip was even more fun and sociable and we were all able to save a bit of money, as the price per person decreased. If you like meeting new people while traveling, I recommend the option to have other people booked on your trip if it's suitable for them! The landscape on our route was breathtaking! Ali's car is really spacious and comfortable and he was always eager to help and meet our wishes regarding stops, food, viewpoints, photo opportunities etc. Our stay in the desert was the best part of the tour - all of the nomads working in Ali's desert camp were very friendly and keen on making our stay fabulous. The camp's facilities are high-end and there is even Wifi for those who want to stay connected. Highly recommend the trekking trip on camels that includes a lunch in the desert with special bread that is baked in the sand :) After the trip ended, our return flight to Germany got cancelled because of the corona crisis. We still had some nights booked in our hotel but for some days, it was not clear how we would be able to return home. Ali and Helena stayed in contact with us throughout these days and very kindly offered their help - even when there was not much that could be done, they checked on how we were doing and offered some kind words and tips.

Hello, Last week with our friends we had an unforgettable trip to Erg Chigaga in Sahara. From the beginning of our communication with Helena, we knew that everything would had gone perfect. She responded our question very fast and she was very helpful for each step. We started our journey very early morning with our guide Lassan who is a such a positive, friendly, kind and helpful person. It couldnt be better without him. Journey to Erg Chigaga was long but our car was very comfortable for 5 people and we stopped in several nice points for photo, delicious mint tea or shopping. The desert camp was quite good, friendly people were welcomed us. The atmosphere was very romantic with candles and fire in the middle of desert. The dinner and breakfast were tasty enough. Sunrise ride with camels were breathtaking and sandboarding was such a joyful activity for us. thanks for all and hoping to see you soon!

It was our first time visiting Morocco and first time spending a night in the desert. Absolutely stunning. I definitely recommend to everyone!! The desert tour was easily the highlight of an already fantastic journey in Morocco. We were short on time but still wanted to do a 3d desert tour in 2 days. Ali was kindly able to accommodate us and took us on easily one of the most memorable journeys of our lives. We stopped for meals, carpets, date palms, local argan oil, scenic breathtaking views, and wherever else we wanted to stop. Ali was very friendly, pleasant, patient, and inviting; treating us like friends rather than simply tourists. For Ali, giving tours of the land is not a job; it's clearly a passion. And he shared his love for the desert and gave us a glimpse of the intriguing life of a nomad. The Sahara Feeling desert camp is charming and magical; with its glowing Moroccan lamps shining in the tranquil desert night, its traditional tents nestled in a small area, its remarkably delicious and plentiful food, its excellent staff who look after everything by day then play music and sing by night. Not to mention the adorable quirky dromedaries (which we learned, are different from camels!) that will carry you deeper into the desert! The desert of Erg Chigaga is everything you could imagine and more. I could have stayed there for the whole duration of our trip in Morocco! It is glorious and majestic; like a sea of tall dunes in every direction. This is the real desert that people dream of visiting. We were so blessed to be able to visit it, guided by Ali and his team. We look forward to visiting the desert again with Ali soon, also touring the rest of the country with him as well. Thank you Sahara Feeling!! Of note, our group consisted of 2 women and 1 man. We felt safe and welcome. The traditional tents house actual beds with clean sheets and blankets. The hygienic facilities have full bathrooms with showers. Everyone at Sahara Feeling speaks at least a little English. Ali speaks English very well and he and many of his staff speak a few languages each.

We booked a 3 day trip from Marrakech to the Erg Chigaga with Ali. Beforehand Helena was extremly helpful organizing the whole set up via email, making a great offer and answering mails super quickly and utmost friendly. Ali picked us up at our Riad timely in the mornings and off we went over the Atlas montains...Ali is a great and sensible driver and guide, took us to all the important and scenic places. We had a lovely trip and a wonderful time at his camp in the desert, excelent food and enjoyed the desert feeling tremendously. Thanks again dear Ali and Helena for an unforgettable stay.
