We are a group of three and decided to do the 3 day tour of Toudra George and Sahara desert. It was great value for money and our driver Hassan was top notch. He told us about the culture of Morocco and stopped at all the best viewpoints. He was friendly and knew how to feed the monkeys :D he also went out of his way to help us get bus tickets for our onwards journey, an amazing man. The first day was spent travelling from Fez through the mountains, and spending the night in the Todra gorge which we eagles through the next day. We then visited an amazing fossil museum and Hassan's home city where we learnt a lot about the culture there. And the experience of being in the desert was absolutely incredible. The camel rides and climbing the sand dunes was unforgettable. We chose the luxury camp option with beautiful tents with bathroom and running water. The food was great. The next day we left early so that Hassan could drive us back to fez in time for our bus. Would totally recommend this tour to everyone. We saw so many different terrains and a side of Morocco a lot of people don't see (including snow, and rain in the desert!)

Where to begin...my husband and I selected the luxury customized 3 day Fes to Desert back to Fes tour. From the moment we landed and were received at the airport from our welcoming guide Abdul to the moment we were dropped off at the airport to return home we felt safe and well cared for. The journey to the Sahara was out of this world and was an amazing experience. What truthfully made our trip was our guide Abdul!! He exceeded our expectations and acccomdated our every need. We were able to see what we chose and skip things we didn’t have as much interest in. The accommodations throughout the trip were top notch and definitely worth the cost. Everything was immaculately clean. The Riad we stayed at Dar Fes Tresor was great and authentic to Morocco. The staff was kind and welcoming. The tents in the desert we stayed at was the Erg Chebbi luxury camp and it was beautiful. Of course like everyone mentions the drive to the desert if far but in all honestly with the great guide we had it flew by and was enjoyable. We never felt pressured or haggled at any point of our stay in Morocco. The tour of the Médina in Fes was so interesting as well with a good guide too. All in all Morocco was incredible and booking with Fes Desert Tours was a great decision and will be one you are guaranteed to enjoy! Thank you for making our trip a wonderful experience! Ask for Abdul he made our trip great!

Our 2-night 3-day excursion from Marrakech to the desert to Fes was a highlight of our trip. We loved our driver Hassan, who was kind and knowledgeable, with a ready smile and an easy laugh. We felt he always had our back! The drive was spectacular, our stay in the Dades gorges lovely. We spent most of the next day in the desert town of Rassani which had just an amazing market, (don’t miss the “Berber pizza!”) The camel ride was such a cool experience, heading off into miles and miles of nothing but sand. Our guide Said made it really fun. (I requested an extra blanket to sit on for the ride home which made a huge difference!) Watching the stars from the dunes was magical. The next day ride to Fes was really long, but again, amazing scenery and as many stops as you need/request. Overall a fantastic time and very reasonably priced for all that you get. Highly recommend!

We took a two day trip into the Sahara from Fez with our wonderful guide, Hassan. What an amazing and unforgettable experience. Its a long drive out of Fez over the beautiful Middle Atlas and High Atlas Mountain Ranges, where you can see Barbary Macaque monkeys, Storks, Egrets, fantastic vistas of desert oasis, lots of nomad camps and even a rare ski-town in Africa. Towards the end of the day, we descended into the Sahara and drove out to a small hostel, where we took camels for an hour to reach a Berber style, quite comfortable camp. We had a great dinner and then were treated to Berber drumming and songs under the stars. Don't miss this one. It was fantastic. Bring light clothes, sun screen and a camera. Ask for Hassan as your driver and hope you are lucky enough to get him.

This tour was definitely the most exciting experience we had while in Morocco. Our driver Abdul was really friendly and knowledgeable and we had some really interesting conversations about the life and culture of Morocco. He was pleasant and took good care of us. As part of the tour we drove for half a day to the south of Morocco passing by various Berber towns and villages, a forest full of monkeys and fantastic Moroccan landscape. Finally we reached a hotel just next to the sand dunes where we had a chance to rest for a bit waiting for the heat to subside a bit. From there we started the camel trekking in a small group with one local guide. The view from atop our camels was something we will remember for the rest of our lives. We arrived in the middle of the desert at a camp where we had delicious dinner prepared and spent the night. There was also a great musical performance by locals with drums and singing where we had the chance to join them for a bit. The whole thing was magical. We really recommend to grab your bed and sleep outside during the night as the heat is unbearable inside the tents (middle of July), where you could also have the chance to admire the night sky. There is a chance to shower and have breakfast next morning at the hotel. On the way back we stopped in the town of Rissani and had a local guide who showed us around and explained some aspects of Moroccan life and culture. Overall we highly suggest to do the tour with these awesome people and enjoy a magical experience!
