We had an amazing experience on this trip! There were plenty of breaks, our driver Said was also a great guide and he was able to answer all of our questions. We had a lot of fun in the car with him! He was very helpful and nice, we would not have had such an amazing experience without him! We stopped at amazing places for great pictures, fabulous views and we had plenty of time to see everything we wanted to. The trip was very well organised, it included stops at most of the touristic places along the way and we got time to visit and make pictures. We stayed at a hotel in the mountains which was nice, very traditionally decorated. All meals were included, all the stops for food were great with very delicious food. In addition to the camel experience we also booked quads and sandboarding in the dessert which I highly recommend to everyone, it was great fun. The camp was very luxurious, tents are spacious, private and look even better than a hotel room. There is everything in there from toilets , showers, electricity to wi-fi. All of our wishes were granted, we were able to eat dinner outside under the stars! There was also a berber party where we were able to learn how to dance and sing with the drums. Everything was well organised and professional. Can’t recommend this trip enough, it was the highlight of our trip to Morocco!

The two nights in the Sahara desert were one of the best experiences of my life; and Omar and Saed made that happen.

Saed was an amazing driver/guide who made the experience very pleasant. He drove very safe, stopped for us when we needed and he was pretty funny with lots of answers to our questions about Moroccan and the Berber culture. His knowledge of driving in the dunes was evident when he carefully avoided the sticky dunes while driving.

Special thanks to Omar for organizing an amazing trip for my friends and me. We did a 4 day and 3 night trip from Fez to Marrakech and it was absolutely incredible. Omar was always responsive and worked with us to create a custom itinerary to ensure we stayed at the camps we required. He was patient and event made last minute changes to our accommodation on the second day because we wanted an extra night in the desert. He arranged to take us to 3 luxury camps so we can choose the one we like. The ATV sunset experience was so much fun and we went deep into the dunes which is exactly what we wanted.

Keep up the good work guys and we hope to be back.

Our 3 Day Marrakech-Fez trip was especially enjoyable because of our driver Aziz. Beyond being an excellent driver during long hours on the road, he was alert, adaptable and sensitive to our family’s comfort, needs and requests. Aziz also shared his love of the desert and Berber culture, and offered knowledgeable answers to a range of questions we had about Morocco and our experiences along the way. He arranged an additional visit to a second Kasbah, not on our itinerary, and ensured that we would have an outstanding guide to make the experience worthwhile. Finally, we were honored and thrilled that he invited us to his home, to experience couscous with his family, which was one of the best meals we enjoyed during our entire trip. Our family felt especially fortunate to have Aziz as our driver, and his efforts on our behalf made our overall Moroccan experience feel more personal, authentic and memorable.

My girlfriend and I have been looking forward to our vacation to Morocco for months, including the camel trekking tour. Unfortunately our holiday couldn't go ahead due to the coronapandemic. Contrary to many other providers of hotels or tours, Omar was immediately willing to return the advance amount already paid. This while we were willing to make a small contribution in view of the difficult times for entrepreneurs like Omar. Of course we understand that it is difficult for tourism enterprises in these times to pay back the monet, but entrepreneurs like Omar are a good example of companies that have built up a good buffer and refund consumers the money they are entitled to. Many thanks for the good communication and hope to see you soon in Morocco!

We had booked the 2-day trip from Marrakesh to Marrakesh (Merzouga and Erg Chebbi sand dunes). Unfortunately, our trip to Morocco was cancelled, due to covid-19. Even though we experienced problems with the hotel and flight tickets with regards to refund, Omar (the person who we have been in contact with regarding the trip to Merzouga) was happy straight away to refund the full amount of the deposit we had sent to book the trip. That shows that Camel Trekking-Day Tours is a company with integrity and managed by people that demonstrate common sense and true understanding.
I would also like to say that Omar has been amazing and really helpful during the whole time we were arranging the trip and has shown excellent professionalism! We were really looking forward to that trip to Merzouga and the ride with the camels... We are sad that we had to cancel, due to the pandemic. We hope to be able to visit Morocco in the near future and when we do, we will definitely choose again this company and meet Omar in person.

We had an amazing experience with Camel Trekking tour and was genuinely impressed with how easy the team made the Moroccan experience for us. From booking with Omar last minute tailored to our needs (two days before arrival) culminating in a very special birthday celebration under the stars complete with Berber music and cake!

Our guide, Hassan, was fantastic. He made sure everything was well taken care of, took us to hidden gems based on his experience, very friendly / fun and accommodated our every request. He made the experience truly local and personalised. We particularly appreciated Omar checking in regularly during the tour and the flexibility of changing the plan when we requested.

The highlights for our 5 day tour from Marrakech - Dessert - Fes include the sunsets/sunrises in the dessert, the camel ride / quad biking on the dunes, many facets of the landscape on the drive, dancing with the locals and sleeping under the milkway of stars.

Would definitely recommend booking with Omar if you are looking for an enjoyable Moroccan adventure without many of the tourist hassles.

When planning our trip to Morocco I searched incessantly for a tour to the desert. There are a lot of companies to search for, and we just didn’t wanted another thing the same, or to seat on a crowded bus for hours.
When I finded the Camel Trekking company I knew it was the one. We did a private tour, but even the shared ones look amazing, since they are for 6 people maximum in a comfortable vehicle.
We did 3 days desert tour from Fes to Marrakesh and it was amazing!
From the beginning, our email conversation with Omar was without problems, he even reassured us that he would refund us our deposit if we could not come (we live in UK and direct flights were banned after we book the trip- our flights were cancelled, even), but we came!
Everyone was very attentive with us, specially when my husband fell quite ill in the desert and for the rest of our tour. Everyone made extra effort to give him tea, rice, bread and fruits so he could manage to eat something. Omar and our driver Abdul made sure we would have some medicaments for my husband to feel better, and thank you, from our hearts, for that.
Tour was amazing, special thanks to our driver Abdul who explained us so many things and showed us so many places.
The tour is amazing and is a must if you come to Morocco. Landscape in the desert is so, so mesmerising, the experience in the desert near Merzouga was fantastic, we ride a camel, ride quads, we saw the sunset and sunrise in the desert and so many other things 😍
The camping in the desert was so special, and the hotel for the second night in dades gorges was superb!
If you are looking to book a tour to the desert: look no more, because we recommend Camel Trekking 2000%
Also they don’t take you to these scams shops that think we are rich just because we are visiting, and this means a lot.
Thank you Abdul and Omar for everything 😍

We had scheduled a 2-day Marrakech to Fez trip with Omar’s Camel Trekking Company this May. Unfortunately, the global coronavirus issue hit at this time, along with travel restrictions and uncertain quarantine requirements, and we had to cancel. I emailed Omar to let him know the bad news. The very next day he replied that he was refunding my deposit and the refund was in my account within the week. This is outstanding customer service! I was touched by his quick response and understanding. When the world opens back up, we will be rescheduling our trip to Morocco, and specifically rescheduling with Omar’s Camel Trekking Company. I’ll be looking forward to the Marrakech to Fez trip!

My husband and I booked this trip online and Omar was super helpful and attentive with the tours that are offered, and also reminded us to book our accomodations so that he knew where to pick us up in Marrakech!

We ended up booking a small group tour and met a couple others on the trip. Hakim & Moustafa were our driver and tour guide and it was so fun with everyone! I had read reviews that the drive to the sahara is a super long one, but Moustafa and Hakim made the drive super fun, with lots of fun energy and laughter!!

The drive to the desert was beautiful -- we made many stops along the way, including seeing some Berber villages, having lunch, see some cool sights, etc., and Moustafa was very attentive to what we wanted to do, etc. It was great! Moustafa also taught us some Arabic and Berber which was so fun to learn :)

Of course seeing the Sahara desert, staying in the luxury tent, stargazing and riding a camel was the best part of the trip :)

I totally recommend booking this tour. I am planning to book it with my family the next time I come back to Morroco :)

A sublime and surreal moment spent visiting the Sahara. The simple sight of the Erg Chebbi dunes was picture perfect and I felt like looking at perfect paintings everyday. The sunrise and sunset were magnificient. Absolutely not to miss the camel rides - very gentle funny animals and a great way to go into the dunes with to visit the many picture perfect views scenery.

But the biggest credit should go to a good local guide who will make the stay memorable and surprising at every moment. We had a good one, Youssef who himself originates from the desert, so he knows everything perfectly. Despite his young age, he is very professional and attentive. He knows the right time to give explanations and share cultural information as well as moments to let us just soak in the experience by ourselves. He is super punctual and very easy going. What I like most is that he asked regularly for feedbacks even on each we had. He tried to find out what kind of activities, attractions or souvenirs we like, in order to bring us to the right places and avoid places and things that weren't our thing. Upon our requests, he brought us only to ships that sell real authentic local products at the right prices. So a very trustworthy young man, hardworking and sensible beyond his age. At the end after dropping us at our last hotel, he wouldn't even leave until he is sure the hotel has our booking correctly and we are in safe hands before saying goodbye. I truly recommend to get Youssef from Camel Trekking to guide you on your trip into the desert. You will be better off with a real local from the area and he is one.
