Our family of 5 returned from a two-week amazing end of Dec/early Jan adventure in Morocco. We fortunately found Rachid and Morocco Private Tour online to help us plan our trip many months ago. He listened to what we wanted to do and put together the perfect itinerary for us. He was open to our ideas every step of the way. We went to Casablanca (direct flight to and from Boston), Rabat, Chefchaouen, Volubillis, Meknes, Fez, Sahara Desert, Rissani, Dades Valley, Marrakech and Essaouira. It was a lot of travel but worth every minute to see all of these history rich cities/villages. Rachid kept in touch with us the entire trip to see how everything was going. We loved our driver Abdul who safely drove us all around the country without looking at a GPS ever, he knows every highway, street and village in the country and knows people wherever he goes. He went out of his way to make sure we always felt safe, had a clean car, got to our excursions on time and had plenty of bottled water. He is very knowledgeable about the area as well. We were sad to say goodbye to him and hope to stay in touch. We had amazing guides who met us like clockwork and were so knowledgeable. Our guide Momo in Fez was a walking encyclopedia of knowledge - we could have listened to him talk for days. Our Riads were beautiful and the hospitality was wonderful - we were greeted by sweets and mint tea wherever we went. We dined on amazing Moroccan Cuisine and threw in some Asian, French and Italian food for some variety. Some trip highlights included our camel riding and camping (glamping) in the Sahara. We had the camp all to ourselves and had the experience of a lifetime. We were signed up for a cooking class in Marrakech and had no idea that it was a nonprofit empowering disadvantaged women through culinary skills. We were so happy to be a part of these women's journey to financial independence and skill building - and loved the food we learned to prepare - amalnonprofit.org. We enjoyed exploring the Medinas, markets and Jewish quarters (Mellahs). We LOVED Chefchaouen (the Blue City) and learning about how the residents really care for their own (families, community, pets, disabled). Our eyes were opened to Moroccan way of life and their family/community/spiritual values. You can travel Morocco by staying in all the major cities or go off the beaten path like we did - we highly recommend going off the beaten path and traveling to these wonderful towns - you will be so happy you did. We came home with memories to last a lifetime and special souvenirs that we will cherish forever. If you are planning a memorable trip to Morocco, look no further than Morocco Private Tour (Rachid and Abdul) to turn your dreams into a reality.

We booked a tour for December 23rd through January 1st and had a great time. My sisters, sister’s husband, and I wanted to have a small private tour that would take us all around Morocco and help us to experience nature, architecture, culture and food. Morocco Private Tours delivered that and so much more! Right when I contacted the website with the interest of booking a tour, Rachid got back to us instantly. He asked what we were interested in, how long we wanted to be in Morocco, and several other questions to customize our trip. Within a day and half he wrote back with a customized itinerary that was jam-packed with adventures. My sisters and I reviewed it and were happy to see so many things to do. We paid our deposit in October and booked our flights that same month. From October to December, whenever I had any questions Rachid would respond right away and assisted us with setting up the deposit, feedback on food/dietary concerns, questions about the holidays in Morocco (we would be there for both Christmas Day and New Years Eve so we wanted to make sure we would have a good time), and checking in about the hotels. Right before the trip Rachid made sure that I had contact information for when we arrived at the airport and tracked our flights to make sure we were on time. At the airport we were greeted right away by our driver, Salim. He was instantly friendly and helpful. He got us to our hotel the first night, and as we had already booked dinner reservations, he also brought us to dinner, waited for us after and took us home. He was our dedicated driver for the entire 10 days and it was wonderful to have a familiar face every morning, and have a friend to help us get where we needed to go! He was a safe driver, and every time we left the car and returned, he would restock our seats with water bottles. He also made sure all our luggage made it from the car to the hotel and back every day and communicated efficiently with our guides so that whenever our car stopped in a new place, someone was there to greet us. We stayed in very lovely hotels – it’s hard to pick a favorite! All of our rooms were beautiful, had wi-fi, and were staffed by the friendliest people. My favorite room might be the one in Dar Borj in Fes, but I also loved Dar Echaueoun in Chefchaueon, and Dar Rihana Dades – which served one of the most outstanding hotel dinners I’ve ever had. The luxury tent in the desert was also wonderful. Rachid later told us that he only books campsites that treat their staff and camels well, so that was a wonderful relief to hear. At each of our stops (and there were multiple stops per day!!!) we were greeted by a local guide who gave us a tour of their hometown. The pride each guide has in his home was palpable and we were all refreshed by the enthusiasm and passion they had about where they lived. We saw a lot of wonderful historic sites, and were taken to quality vendors if we wanted to purchase something. We were also taken to lovely lunch locations and got to eat quality Moroccan food everyday. Other highlights include having lunch with a local Berber family in Midelt and taking a cooking class in Marrakech run by a non-profit dedicated to the empowerement of disadvantaged women (Amal Association). Moments like these helped us to not just feel like tourists observing the country on our trip, but people actually genuinely interacting with people. I can’t say enough good things about Rachid and Salim. By the end of the trip we felt as if we had gained two new friends in Morocco and look forward to returning again in the future! Would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a tour made by people who love where they are from!

I just returned from my vacation to Morocco through Morocco Private Tour. It was an incredible experience. The company was comprehensive and attentive. All details, large and small were taken care of. Each day was packed with incredible excursions. Our driver was helpful and made the trip thoroughly enjoyable. Every city was so unique, and each guide was so knowledgeable. I loved camping in the Sahara, and the cooking class at the Amal Women's Training Center, the incredible meals, and the tours of all of the beautiful sites. I highly recommend this group if you're considering going to Morocco!

We just returned from our wonderful 10 day tour of Morocco with Morocco private tours From day one of planning and booking, Rachid was patient and listened to our desired brief for an adventure of variety and culture. This was delivered. Our driver and guide Abdellah was professional and attentive and looked after us very well. Highlights of our trip were: - staying in the old Medina's in traditional and beautiful Riads - the cooking class experience in Marrakech run by an organisation assisting disadvantaged woman - glamping in the Sahara desert camp (please see my separate review of Royal Luxury Camps) - seeing the cultural diversity and landscape in Morocco We thoroughly recommend Morocco Private Tours for your Moroccan adventure

e had such an amazing time with Morocco private tours for our honeymoon! During the planning stages, I contacted Rachid about booking our honeymoon trip. Rachid immediately got into contact with me on what’s app and was super attentive and responsive whenever I had any questions. Whenever I had any concerns, Rachid helped alleviate any stress we had and also ensured that whatever we were doing in Morocco was up to our standards. Upon arriving in Morocco, we had such an amazing time. Our driver, Mohammad, was super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. It was great to hear about all the amazing cultural aspects in the country. It is so hard to pick our favorite experiences because morocco private tours booked so many great experiences for us. Two of our most memorable was our time in Chefchaouan and our luxury desert camp in the Sahara. The hotel in Chefchaoun was beyond beautiful and we couldn’t imagine a more picturesque view. The Sahara was an amazing experience and the tents even included a working shower and toilet ! Talk about luxury ! Rachid was super helpful on the road giving us tips through what’s app and even helped us get our water bottle back when we left it behind at a shop in Marrakech! He was able to contact our guide, who let us enjoy our time eating lunch, to get the water bottle. In our tour package we were also able to go to an amazing spa to experience a Hammam and finished the trip with a cooking class. I don’t think our honeymoon would be as amazing if booked with a different company. We are definitely going to be booking with them again in the future when we return to Morocco - we are thinking about doing a coastal tour next time. And we are going to continue to recommend morocco private tours to anyone who tells us they are interested in going to Morocco!
