This shop is the shopping highlight of Chefchaouen. It sells aromatic spices and incense. The owner is also a herbalist who has a cure for every illness on the face of the earth. He also sells more than 20 types of handmade soaps, oils, lotions and hard perfumes. You can smell Jasmine, Rose, Sandalwood, Vanilla and many other fragrances in this tiny little double storied shop. Truly a visual and olfactory delight.

So much shopping in Morocco is high pressure sales or, at least, a slightly awkward experience as the owner watches you intently, with high hopes of making a sale. This shop couldn't be more different: It is a two story shop simply filled with an enormous selection of nicely displayed soaps and oils. You can grab a small basket in which to collect your choices as you browse, inhaling the intoxicating, exotic scents as you go. Prices are clearly marked and very fair: about $3 for a good sized bar of soap. There are also cleverly bundled groups of 4 to 6 bars of soap, which make great gifts. The owner busies himself on the second floor, until you have a question or are ready to make your purchase. All & all, a lovely shop with great products and a nice shopping experience. Go!

We stumbled across this boutique while playing tourist in Chef and it became our favourite souvenir stop easily! There were sooo much natural products to pick and choose from, but the argan oil with fruit was hands down my fav. I rubbed some on and it stayed the entire day even after meals and countless hand washing. It felt really nice on the skin and seemed as authentic as it gets. Never buying the cheap drug store knock offs ever again. Also, the soaps are huge and worth the buy. I got the rose, argan and some other black one that's good for exfoliating. I also got the rub on perfume (lasts so long). Find you way here in Chef!! You won't regret it. Also p.s. to the owner, I've tried to WhatsApp about placing an international order. Pleaseeeee find a way to make it happen. Your products are to die for!

One of the better places to eat in Chefchaouen. A variety of Moroccan fare, well presented and prepared. Bit pricey. No alcohol.
